Great video. So just to be clear, the only functions that you can do without the software are FN+(F1)(F2)(F3) and for other customization, you need the software?

Great question! U r correct if we r only talking about the flashy RBG lights :) theres a few more FN+(some key) commands built in, for example FN+(Up arrow key) which increases the brightness of the RBG lights, or FN+F9 that will mute all coming sound from the PC! So if I understood ur question correctly, u r right, there r no other than FN+(F1)(F2)(F3) to customize the style of RBG lights (besides its brightness, that u can do with arrow keys) without a software. If u wish to get more creative with them, then u need to utilize the software :D Hope this was of help! ^-^

Heya tyvm!😄 Thats actually a really good question! I dont have such to test with, however i have noticed that if i open my laptop with this keyboard, the keyboards settings will be on factory default until i open the software, then the customized presets activate automaticly. So by this experience, im quite confident anwsering ur question: "unfortunately its a no with custom presets whileusing other devices, reqyires the software being open in the background" I lowkey hope im wrong, but this is my conclusion with this topic

Great question bro, with the FN+F3, it always brings random colors on a button, even if i spam the same button. FN+(left/right arrow key) does not do anything. FN+(up/down arrow key) Increases or decreases its brightness. Thx for asking, hope this was helpful :)

When i try to switch it doesnt work I have the lighting modes saved to the presets but when I click fn+f1-f3 it doesn't work.every other fn combination works expect the switching profiles.

Oh darn.. its _very_ rare that it might be a bitt "broken"/faulty from the manufacturing. Im not 100% sure why ur keyboard is being like that, tbh id email their customer support, if urs is a bitt faulty, u should get a new 1 for free

Yeah red switches :D ! This was my first ever mechanical i bought n i noticed afterwards, red is a bitt too sensitive for my heavy fingers xd I actually did a unbox video about it aswell if ure interested ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/mH68mK2aetSmmcU ) I do recommend in a sense that its very good material, mechanical is easier to clean/customize/fix + doesnt have uneccessary keys + its sooo bright

Hey! 😃 Yes!..kind of xD Same name but without the "CORE", thats it xP On their website u can rly easily c all their keyboard product options! HyperX Site: www.hyperxgaming.com/en/keyboards As u notice, theres "Alloy Origins Core" (what i have in this video) but there is also "Alloy Origins" that do have extra keys! U should find these keyboards by "Alloy origin keyboard" (dont put CORE, thats for the less keys one) Heres one i found from a Finnish shop called GIGANTTI -> www.gigantti.fi/product/gaming/pelinappaimistot/173668/hyperx-alloy-origins-pelinappaimisto Its on sale rn, thats why i wanted to choose it incase u wana order it :D (ends at d2.m1.y22) Hope this was of help! 🤓

Try FN+UpArrowKey, incase ur keyboard lights went to 0%, this tactic will increase the lights, thus bringing em back on!😁 If that didnt work, a factory reset will bring the keyboard back to its default settings (removing any custom settings), to do this, press n hold FN+ESC for 3-5sec🤓

Just to be clear, i was holding the FN key when pressing F2 :D All what i showed was designed by default, so ive not done any customization myself with the keyboard :) So if u buy this keyboard n press FN+F2 it should show those same colors as shown on vid ^-^ Hope my response was of help!

U mean u changed it to FN+F2/F3? Then yes, u can press FN+F1 Or... Do u mean that uve changed the FN+F1 effect with the software, but now want it back the way it was before? U can try use FN+F1 again but without the software being up at all. If that didnt work, u can do a factory reset!(this will remove all customized effects etc) To do a factory reset, u press n hold FN+ESC for 3-5 sec. Now ull have the keyboard as it was qhen u bought it, which means FN+F1 back to its original setting 🤓😁 Hope this gave u the anwser u were looking for

Heya! The solution to this is to do a factory reset by holding FN+ESC for 5 sec ⚙ This will make ur keyboard to the mode it was like at the store, so in simple words to default mode :)

Hey Licky! 👋 Try pressing the FN+ESC button for 3 seconds, this does a factory reset on the keyboard n should fix odd errors/bugs (this will also remove custom LED settings, just so u know). Whats does FN+F12 do?

FN+F12 enables GAME MODE, which means the windows button is disabled, just to make sure while in a game u wont accidently open windows which interferes gameplay. To reactivate windows button, u press FN+F12 again :)

Ill be honest, im not sure, it could be a bug from the softwares end, or in REALLY rare case, u might have a faulty keyboard (this is rly rare, i doubt this is the case) or u mightve done a small oopsie unknowingly. However their customer support responds decently quick to help out, i recommend ask for help from them if u still havent figured out whats the issues, im rly sry, i wish id have an anwser but i dont wana pretend like id know the anwser, i hope it gets sorted!
