HyperX Ngenuity Software Tutorial for Mechanical Keyboard - Save RGB Profiles and Macros MAY 2020

For those having issues with switching profiles after you save them here is the fix. On hyperx's logic if you have your Ngenuity open or minimized in the system tray then the switching of the profiles will be done from within the app. If you desire to switch the profiles from the Fn + F1/F2/F3 keys you have to close the application by clicking exit in the system tray and after this the keyboard will switch to its internal memory and know what do you mean by pressing Fn + F1/F2/F3. Kinda dumb but hope they fix it in the next version.

For the people that the program dont save You need to go into the settings of the app and take off minimize to taskbar, it needs to be shutdown after you save ur presets not minimized

Close the app on the bottom right and then you can use FN to change between the styles you made

The NGENUITY software on my computer does not have a button "Add Effect". It only gives me two options (Choose Triggered Effect, and Choose Looped Effect). I cannot add multiple effects and layer them. I was using the previous NGENUITY software for my Alloy Elite RGB keyboard and that seemed to work, and then the software updated, reset the memory profiles and only seems to allow lighting with the Beta software. I love the quality, look, and feel of this keyboard, but from the start I have regretted buying it because the software is terrible. It took me hours to figure out how to save a profile, and now I can't even get my effects back without layering them. Would return this keyboard and Pulsefire Dart mouse if I could.

They want you to stay on the program, that's probably why they don't actually save profiles on the keyboard. Why is the "On-Board Memory" there for? I was looking on the internet for a older version of NGenuity, which supports saving profiles into the On-Board Memory, and I found one, but only for the Pulsefire FPS PRO mouse and Alloy Elite RGB keyboard. I have the Alloy FPS RGB and I can't do anything about it but buy a new keyboard. That's all I can do.

help.... i don't have the sync button, so i pressed 'save to keyboard' instead, but it doesn't work. my presets are gone and i'm only left with my latest config. i tried saving my presets to the 3 fn keys, but after I close the program, only my latest preset is saved and pressing the fn keys doesn't toggle the profiles.

Hey!! i really need some help. i bought a Hyperx Alloy origins few months back it worked properly but yesterday i installed this software then suddenly my pc shutdown outta nowhere and then when it restarted my lights on keyobard were not working then i opened the software but as soon as i opened it my whole keyboard stopped working ( no lights, and and doesn't register what i type). without the software opened my keyboard works but no lights pop up and if i open it comepletely stops, Please Help me i am so confused.

I was finally able to download the software and I saw where to change the language on settings to the left but instead of punctuation, it is giving me Spanish language characters. It is as if some of the keys switched their positions and I cannot find several punctuation marks.

Have you tried out a different Usb connection? Either there is a problem with the connection or your keyboard is bricked. Make sure you act fast and get a refund if you can't figure anything out

Hi, , want to buy the alloy origins core but i have to use turkish keys as well. Couldi set any key that i want to write turkish letters when i press them? And also İn turkish There is the letter ''ı'' which when you write it on caps lock, it writes the big ''i'' in english. Let's say there is an alpha button on the keyboard and i set it to ''ı''. When i press Shift+Alpha it should write capital ''i'' in english and when i press the i button it should write ''İ''. Could i set such thing and would it cause problems ?

i used it to save the settings as a preset . but now it wont let me switch from one preset to another using the function keys. there is no sync option on there anymore it just says save to key board and you pick with color wheel if that makes sense but i cant switch form one to another any more. any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks. Update 7/24/2021 .you have to uninstall the program inorde. For the keyboard to switch which is a pain because if you reinstall the progam the presets get reset

Heyyy for a better solution, after assigning profiles to the function keys, simply close the hyperx software, which can be found in the notification tray. And to stop the software from opening when booting up your computer, you have to use Task Manager, click 'more details', click the 'Startup' tab and then look for HyperX NGENUITY. Then, you can disable the software by selecting it and clicking the disable button at the bottom right. Whenever you need to change any settings with the profiles, simply open the software and then close it whenever you're done! Hope this helps

Hello, my question is why my keyboard doesn't shine on RGB and other colors, I uninstall HyperX Ngenuity and my keyboard is still "black". I have HyperX Alloy Elite RGB. Before install it shined but after download and configuration it doesnt shine.
