I literally never stopped to think about how bizarre this place called Limbo is, it practically tries to "pull" you into it when you get afk or have an internet problem, I'm really amazed at how this simple flying wooden house could be so mysterious.

Tiny tidbit, you also get sent to Limbo if there are more players queued to play than the server can handle. Last year, there were an extra 40,000-50,000 players trying to get on (including me) around the start of summer vacation, and since there were too many people, I waited in Limbo for a spot to open for around an hour before giving up and doing something else.

I got stuck there, it wouldnt teleport me back. I started walking around, i accidentally fell into the void. It put me in hardocre and i kept falling and wouldnt stop until i couldnt tell up from down, it started blasting this creepy noise. It was horrible

the only way to leave limbo is to rejoin or use /hub. If you wanted to force someone to stay in there i’d imagine hypixel would need to be full. So i don’t know how you’d be able to trap someone in limbo!

If you type /limbo while you're already in limbo the 1 line will says "to return to reality, use /hub" "reality?" and also "watch out, there may be some things that lives in "limbo...""

I was playing skyblock on hypixel one day and then my game suddenly crashed, after that it teleported me to the limbo I immediately recognized the map from a random video but I forgot what it was I was extremely creeped out

3:17 so in 1.8 you can actually build inside the invisible border eventually once you build out 16 blocks the pattern is repeated (the pattern of blocks you placed) you can go on it for infinity and if you fall in the "invisible border" you get a slow falling like effect without getting one, exiting that chunk will make you fall at normal speed again.

I remember when standing in the wizard tower portal on skyblock for too long teleported you to limbo, that was pre end update though. If I remember correctly you were stuck in limbo for a while and I've seen one chunk be completely filled by one type of block (torch), at the time I was on 1.12.2 w optifine

There is a way to ACCTUALY end up in limbo by destroying your game so badly the network freaks it will send you to an empty room but the only thing possible to see is glass nothing more

I believe that hypixel teleports both the client and server player to limbo, and then disconnects you from the server. I think that explains why the /limbo command says that other things live in limbo
