I seen these guys or should I say musical angels about 7yrs ago and regret not having that burnt cd. I was touched by their musical soulful compositions. It was the first time I had been to Chicago and was one of the bright points of my visit. Now they are players with passport and worldwide.

No one has really pinned down a genre name for this. I think the closest is Youngblood calling themselves Riot Jazz, which fits pretty well. The problem is Hypnotic is not quite the same as Youngblood, but I'd be fine calling them all Riot Jazz with different band styles. Of course there's the problem of bands like Rebirth which are close to Youngblood and company, but keep closer to the New Orleans roots than the hip hop influences. In the end, we can't really define them, but we enjoy them.

@Sm0kingDawg You realize this isn't jazz, right? It's got some features of it, but it's definitely closer to a hip hop feel than jazz. There's only four chords present for most of the piece, and it adds two more later. i-v-iv-vi, then some bVII and bVI with some cool tones thrown in.

But to me there is drug for me is smoking, alcohol and drugs that are released here in Brazil, while marijuana is banned, I fight for marijuana to be free and that anyone wishing to use marijuana use, each one does what you want . Respect my opinion I respect her, everyone has the right to do what you think is right, then I will not talk shit.
