Storyline guess: Zoella wanted to invite Isadora to her party because she was popular. She went over to invite her, and Isadora saw this as an opportunity to control her. After Isadora accepted the invite, Alyx (who was also controlled into being Isadora’s friend..?) invited her to hang out. Zoella was hesitant due to her thinking Amy (Zoella’s bestfriend) would feel upset because she was abandoning her. After refusing, Isadora decides to hypnotize Zoella and forces her to hang out with her. Isadora controlling her caused Zoella to forget who she was and who she knew. The next day Amy came over to them and she tried to talk to her, but Isadora got irritated and caused Zoella to get irritated too. Amy and Zoella stopped being friends because Isadora forced her to. Isadora continued to control Zoella, until Zoella realized she was stuck in her MIND. She knew that you could do what you wanted to in your mind and escaped. The next day Zoella ran to Amy trying to explain to her what was happening and get her help. Amy was confused and kinda thought she was lying. Isadora and Alyx then arrived near Zoella and Amy, accusing her of lying and being crazy. She tried to hypnotize Zoella, but Amy went in front of her and interfered with it. Isadora then hypnotized Amy and Alyx. She forced them both to turn against Zoella. (And possibly attack her.) This took a while to write, I hope it was correct! I think Isadora was gifted with the power of hypnotism, BUT since she was somewhat of a selfish child she used her newfound power to gain popularity (convincing directors to cast her in movies, forcing people to put her magazines, forcing people to give her free stuff, etc). So people who have not come in contact with her just think she's amazing, which makes her want to be adored by everyone. I think her longing for admiration from everyone is what caused her to control Zoella when she refused to "hang out" with her, showing that she wants everyone to adore her. When she made Zoella drown herself she was just "testing" how far she can go with the mind control. But I think she can only really control people who are "weak-minded," which is why Zoella, after showing her determination, broke free from the mind control. But finally, in the end, she mind-controlled everyone since there was doubt in the other's thoughts. But IDK, this is just my theory.
