This was the song that lead me on a lifelong exploration of extreme metal, the first time I really "got" it. My brother had a VHS-tape of an episode of Headbangers ball, and this monstrous beauty was among the videos. I think I was 12-13 years old. And it scared the sh!%t out of me, it was so _evil_ and _dark._ But gradually, it turned from noise and offending destruction into something that wasn't trivial, pleasant and easily forgotten. And I started to appreciate the musicianship, the intensity and the courage to not trying to fit in by erasing who you are, but go the completely opposite way. Outrage the easily outraged, accept the fact that darkness exists in this world and stop trying to hide it, examine it instead so you can move ahead. Art is free and should never be feared or suppressed. And as I got older still, geez, it's just music! It's not like anyone takes this satanic thing _seriously_ anyway...
