Hypothermia is the process in which body temperature falls down below 37 range. Medium aged people are not at risk that much. But old people and younger ones who don't have the strength of abilities at this temperature may at risk and most often as they die

Very informative video..as always sir...kindly share your view about cp byepass in severe hypothermia which i have read in text books only..very much interested to know whether it is being practised or not in amritha, being one of the best ER in south india . THANKS IN ADVANCE

Severe Hypothermia is very very rare in our climatic conditions. We had few cases of moderate hypothermia where the cause was secondary to hypothyroidism which recovered with standard treatment. We have never done CPB in case of Severe hypothermia.
