not that it matters to you since you commented 2 years ago, but in case anyone else wants to know.. make sure the problem you're working on that for "x" is/is not already given to you. X is the amount taken from the sample aka the proportion you're looking for. She multiplied the percentage, because the word problem didn't give it to her
