Hey mate I'm currently in the process of doing my head gasket how did you release the timing chain tensioner did you just hammer a block of wood in there

@@logicgaming7728 yeah just a wooden wedge to compress the tensioner and hold it in place

@hyr0llr I've already taken the cam gear and the head off and the tensioner pushed all the way out if I hammer a wooden block down will it compress it

@@logicgaming7728 it should ive even used a screwdriver to push that piston in cuz it popped out on me. Just got to make sure the chain has tension on it to not lost the timing on the crank

I did this before, I fucked up by not sending the head out to get machined cause here I am doing it a second time within one year lol

Luckily i rebuilt the motor and got rhe machine work done a few years ago. This was just a cheap headgasket failure
