I've just started my zelda adventure with the lastest game, although i've still new to the franchise i'm impressed how nintendo makes every game different but enjoyable while adding interesting and sometimes timeless (and powerful) characters from what i've seen, cannot wait to try all of them one by one.

honestly i wouldve recommended starting with a link to the past, because the 2 newest games are literally nothing like the older ones (which really pisses me off, if you couldnt tell 💀) but theyre still good, great games, but…theyre not the best zelda games. botw is flawed in many ways in terms of story, dungeons looking all the same (and not even being called dungeons…wtf) and all 4 dungeon bosses basically just looking like different phases of the same boss. its a great game, but definitely not the best zelda. tears of the kingdom seemed to fix almost all of breath of the wilds flaws, but while they brought back classic enemies, and generally made it a lot better, its not like the older games still. although totk definitely is one of the best zelda games unlike botw. but point is, you wont get that same classic zelda experience with the newer games because nintendo just changed it too much. the only thing making botw a zelda game is the title and character names. although you’re definitely going to love tears of the kingdom, along with the rest of the franchise. i just wish nintendo would stop changing the series and milking/excessively mentioning/advertising those new games.

Hyrule Warriors Legends has always been one of my favorite 3DS games so seeing you cover it is awesome. Also, Trident Ganondorf is my main, so seeing him placed at S-Rank is very well-deserved.

Wish this game had more dlc characters Majora's first form was my most requested character, being a character with long range attacks with wacky animations, like his walking animation being him moonwalking, their dash being them reverting to the mask form, an attack where they just goes Russian dancing, maybe attacks that use the whips from their final form Vaati being my second most wanted character, him being a projectile base character that turns enemies to stone or maybe controlling enemies around him a variant for toon link based of the minish cap could have been great addition to accompany Vaati, using his ability to create duplicates when making the spin attack, close attacks using the mole claws or sucking and shooting enemies using the jar would have made a great moveset. Imagine his supermove being his ability to shrink but instead of himself he shrinks everyone around him or maybe making an enemy grow giant, referencing the giant chuchu boss(which wasn't really giant but still)

The fact vaati was never included feels very weird, like apart from ganondorf and demise he is the 3rd biggest villain in the franchise with I think three games to his name and yet he didn't get so much as a reference as far as I know like how one of ganondorf's costumes references malladus

my personal favorite is absolutely trident ganondorf, especially with faster speed he just mows everything with lightning magic and trident throws and especially being that lightning is my favorite natural element it just vibes hard with me. Otherwise I love gauntlets and chain Link, especially because of the special that SPINS THE ENTIRE FREAKIN WORLD. Fierce Deity Young Link because who doesn't like going ham as Fierce Deity, people overlook it often but I feel like Summoning Gate Lana is best Lana, works especially well as a boss buster for time challenges because if you get that Argorok out right as the weak point breaks you can keep on hitting the boss and skip the entire cutscene of dealing a power blow/deal tons of damage before doing more with that power blow. edit: Also Agitha in Hyrule Warriors was the greatest insult they have ever inflicted upon the potential idea of having Snowboard Yeto slam into enemies, shove enemies for soup and tackle everyone on his way to give his wife unconditional love.

I am glad you rated Marin so high, she's honestly one of my favorite characters of this game. I absolutely agree with the point of a character who sounds like they are enjoying themselves making it that much more fun to play. That's mostly why I enjoy Marin, she's fun to play and with her personality she even sounds like she is enjoying it. That helps amps the fun even more, since it makes it so you and the character are almost in sync with each other on the overall fun and action.

Yeah, the spin attack has like a shockwave effect or something which all the other Hylian Swords Lack, and not to forget that the Master Sword can also shoot beams at multiple certain Combos which will mow down the enemies like grass. The Hylian Sword can only shoot beams at the Neutral Neutral Strong Combo (YYX on the warriors control style)

Two things: 1) I love your content. I'm so glad I found this channel through your Latin American representation in videogames video because just listening to your videos is fun. 2) thank you for just playing the game in English. This may sound weird, but whenever I want to see anything in this game, the person playing it, who speaks/uses English, plays the game in an entirely different language. Which is fine, play however you wanna play, but it's a bit jarring for me when a guy is speaking English and plays every other game in English but Hyrule Warriors is left unreadable for me. I am monolingual btw. Anyways, your videos are great. Keep up the amazing work, bud.

Actually funny enough, naturally I love to support dubs and translations in Latin American Spanish, so whenever a game has a dub I tend to play it that way BUT I also play it with English Text I just beat Tears of the Kingdom recently and I'm about to release a video about it, all of the game's text is in English but I was fully playing the game with Spanish voices, love it when games let me do that

Dual-Sword Ganondorf is probably my fav to play. His huge AoE and massive damage on standard strong attack is nutty. Twili Midna and YL are both really nuts to play. It's to the point YL feels like cheating. I'd probably put Marin, Ganondorf (both), Ball and Chain Link, and Rapier Zelda a tier higher. And Zant. Bruh. All you need to do is learn the timings for his gauge and you can fill it super easily. From there, I advise against the spin and go shooting the lil bullets. That MELTS WPG. It makes him an absolute monster, especially with Hasty As for Shiek and Skull Kid, I love using them...when my TV is muted. I hate how every attack has a musical effect, and how many attacks do they do per map? Youre CONSTANTLY hearin the ocarina toot or harp effect. Also Volga+Hasty is best of all worlds. He gets his huge AoE so quickly he can solo most things. Finally....I'm stunned you have such a huge level difference between Midna, Link, and most everyone else in the video. I thought it might have been old footage and most everyone is ~150 but it sounds like no? No wonder some attacks seem weak on, say, Cia. At a good level she has insane AoE and good damage potential. Her summoning multiple Links in front of a large boss can destroy WPG like nothin. Love using her.

This is such a unique tier list. So many of them just go by the numbers, but there is a lot more to a character. It's cool to see a list take into account how they feel to play, and the personality and style of each character.

Damn, I only put around 25 hours in this game, and I've seen only about half of the roster myself. Gotta give this a fair revisit some time after I'm done with TotK. I skipped out on Age of Calamity entirely, because my head literally hurt from the horrible performance in the demo, but the first game runs pretty okay on the Switch.

The Dev's knew how broken Young Link was and made all of his weapons only change on Fierce Deity Link because they knew nobody would even see Young Link after 30 seconds

You forgot Zant has a second strong attack for his madness meter. If you press x after its full and mash Y instead of X, he'll shoots balls od energy rabidly. You can move him around in a circle while doing it. Shame you missed that. Also you can dodge cancel to eliminate issues with combos leaving you wide open. Very useful for Agitha and Ghirahim.

Actually mashing X does the projectiles, Y is the slashing move but yeah the shot spam is really good. Also this is absolutely a casual and subjective tier list, if you know anything about playing this game well then half this tierlist is just off

There is a fun exploit with the Horse (Epona). It may look like this weapon is horrible to fight bosses or mini bosses, but actually you can destroy and focus easily just by doing C1, eating a carrot. The fun thing is, when all the carrots are used you can use C1 again to "fail" for 2 seconds and BOOM, you have all your carrots again, so it's a never ending cycle

For Linkle’s Pegasus Boots, they may have taken their namesake from said item, but we can see in various shots that the design is based off of the “Iron Boots” & “Roc’s Feather” items throughout the series.

I really feel like I'm the only person on the planet that enjoy playing as Fi I love how graceful she is with her attack animations and I think her attacks that moves her around too much plays well into the "dancing across a battlefield" concept. I love how she could keep attacking mobs while on the way to the next objective because of her forward moving attacks, allowing me to maintain my momentum. She does struggle with officers/bosses, so that's something I can't defend on. This is mostly stemming from my experience playing Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U back then, so I do have a bias towards Fi Hyrule Warriors was the game that introduced me to Fi, and I eventually learn that Fi is a VERY unpopular character in Skyward Sword, on top of being considered the worst character in Hyrule Warriors (both seriously used and casually used). So I guess I just have a thing for playing "bad" characters. It might've been pity, but I just gravitate towards these kinds of characters that just so happens to get a lot of hate No offense to this video because I agree with some of the placements of how fun these characters/weapons are. I have very fond memories of using Link (Sword/Shield, Gauntlets, and The Great Fairy), Zelda (despite it being placed very low, I actually like the Baton), Ganon, Impa, Lana, Darunia, Ruto, both Midnas, Zant, Volga, Linkle (I actually like her Pegasus Boots more, but Crossbows are fun too), Marin, and of course Fi

Fi is relatively good for speedrunning as she has an insanely fast dodge that's quicker than any other character and her last combo is really good for single and multi target enemies. The only point where she lacks is when fighting Giant Bosses

Spinner is my favorite. Each combo leaving separate spinners which can be effected by other combos is a lot of fun. Similar to you, faster character's usually throw me off, bht this managed to be an exception. Worst is Zelda’s baton. Each move feels delayed, the combos don't feel like they do much. The tornado could have been awesome, if the markers that strengthen it didn't disappear so quickly.

I think ganondorf is a great gameplay reflecting the story moment, during the 3 ganondorf chapters instead of telling you of his power or showing it as an enemy YOU get the litterally experience ganondorf's conquer quest first hand, then afterwards you have to clean up the mess you got to creat both of those chapters also set a good desperate mood either through the constant heat damage and clones or just the entire aestethic of the final stage and sheer power of buffed up ganondorf Also tbh I have never had a problem with overdoing zant's strong attacks, I can say that his moveset is kinda mediocre like a low mid tier but people who complain about his strong attacks have a skill issue Counterpoint regular midna has the better design

My favorite characters to play in HW are Ravio, Marin, Link (Sword or Spinner) and Princess Zelda (Rod). Because they represent my favorite Zelda games: Link to the Past, Link Between Worlds, and Link's Awakening. Ravio is my favorite in the whole series. I love the concept of Bunny Link in LTTP evolving into Ravio. I was kinda sad I didn't get Bunny Link as a weapon or a character, but I got Ravio, and so he's my main! If I can do it with Ravio, then I am!! What? Backup character slot? Ravio fills it in! :D He may not be as "useful" or "broken" as some characters but he's who I wanna play. I'm 200 hours in. I can't STAND Wizzro at all. He's my absolute lowest level. Agatha is at least level 40 because I bought her levels to pass a few maps. My Skull Kid is low level, too. I hate his sound effects. Not just when he's walking but the constant flute noises when attacking. I have to play is battles muted, and that's sad, because this game has some damn game music. My little brother's favorite is Midna, too!! :D Cool tier list, dude! I agreed with you on a lot of things, disagreed on a few, and that's okay.

Age of Calamity is amazing! I have a very old video about it if you want to check it out It's main issues are the framerate which is abbysmal and the story is either love it or hate it depending on who you are, still a good game doe!

Think I disagree most on Zant, he's my 2nd favorite. Preventing overloading his meter is basically counting to 6. The moves to empty the meter are effective on top of this. Cia is top 5. Except for oddly enough her final combo, I think she has a great moveset. C1: Knockback and Gibdo immunity C2: keep clearer C3: fantastic range C4: able to stunlock enemies C5: boss weakpoint killer.

I would have put Hylian and Master Sword Seperately The Master Sword has the Ability to shoot Beam projectiles at certain Combos when at full health like for example the first normal combo where you can leap into the air, this obe shoots three Vertical Beams and whild in the air every regular attack also fires a beam. Then the NormalNormalStrong where you can shoot three Horizontal Beams instead of just one which is the case for the Average Hylian Sword, and a Full Neutral Combo also fires Three Vertical Beams out. And the Spin Attack with the Master Sword has a bit more range and a tiny explosion-like effect which the other swords lack unfortunally. With other words the Master Sword is literally far better than the Hylian Sword because if you use it properly you are basically untouchable.

I do not at all care for the gameplay of the warriors games, so the characters, art style and graphics, and stuff along those lines were pretty much the games only chance to win me over. Thankfully it succeeded and I had a lot of fun with the game.

As a crowd control fighter, I would actually put Cia in the S tier. Whenever she gets surrounded, which of course happens all the time in this game, I just use the attack I like to call “Stomp Me, Mommy!” and she just destroys everything around her. What I especially like about this attack is that commander enemies that get caught in it unguarded are completely helpless and you can just keep juggling them as much as you like. And it absolutely shreds weak point gauges. Cia is also the best character to take on levels where the mission is jist to rack up kills until time runs out, and when you combine her focus meter with Stomp Me, Mommy!, you can easily score in the upper 500s before her meter runs out with rupee, XP, and item drop rate boosts. In my opinion, Cia is THE most devastating, most ridiculously overpowered close-range fighter in the game. Period. She’s a nuke with a 10/10 body. A Double-H bomb, if you will. In fact, just her close-range game alone puts her in SSS in my opinion.

Hit the nail on the head for me with Agitha. It's a shame because I really like her in Twilight Princess, but I feel the developers of Hyrule Warriors really missed the mark when designing her. There are SO many bugs you give to her in Twilight Princess that all could have done fun things, but only using butterflies and stag beetles makes he so lame on top of just having a slow, weak and short range. I also personally dislike how much they failed to depict her personality. Yes, she can be very cutesy, but Twilight Princess also never hides that she's weird and creepy and borderline dangerous - in Hyrule Warriors I just feel like she's going to give me cavities with how overly sweet they made her. Agitha feels less like a choice based on a beloved character and more the Warriors team's need to fill every game with waifu material. Cannot stand this character in Hyrule Warriors.
