That break near the end is so annoying - it goes out of sync.

The bit at 5:36? Annoying because the 'do you really want love' vocal comes in part way through a bar instead of on the first beat? It does that through the whole record, including at 2:55. The only reason you notice or think it sounds 'off' near the end is because the underlying kick drum and other elements drop out for a couple of beats before it all comes back in at the start of the next bar. It's not like the record goes out of 4/4 or anything. It doesn't 'go out' of sync, that's the 'sync' it's in throughout the entire track.

​@@chinnyreckon775 Count the beats from the crash cymbal from 5:15 and tell me it's not out of sync by 1 bar at 5:39 when it comes back in, due to that 1 bar/4 beats break. I've always had to cue the incoming track 4 beats behind to cope.

@@nmccormack998 I count 52 beats (13 bars) between the timings you give. So your gripe is that it's an odd number of bars. But it's still an even number of beats (and a multiple of four) so does it (or should it) make a difference? I'll be honest and say I've never properly mixed a record in my life, so perhaps I'm underestimating any potential difficulty. But surely you can just bring the next track in as soon as it comes out of the break and mix out 'Want Love' from there? I make it 24 bars from 5:39 till the end, so no Rob White trying to throw djs off there.

@@chinnyreckon775 I shouldn't have said from 5:15 but it was near a crash cymbal. There is a crash cymbal every 16 beats (4 bars). The 1 bar break throws out the sync IF you have already started the new song before that break. If you wait til after, there's little to work with - for a DJ like me who tries to mix for over 30 seconds for a lot of songs.
