Should a new one of these stink off burning petrol? I had it on my back today for secondtime. And i can still smell the smell of burning fuel or oil... i did the level right. The smell stuck in my nose

@NewWorldHoarder notice once used for a few mins it does settle. I'm having trouble i keep running outta fuel. When I fill the bottle that comes with it nd use the 2 stroke oil. How far up on the tank can u fill it ?
@NewWorldHoarder2 ай бұрын
@@deiselthebelgianmalinois8387 Ok, firstly I apologise, the chap in this video states that the engine on these machines is a four stroke, which caused me to delete the original message I was typing to you. Since I checked the spec and it’s listed as a two stroke, here goes…. 1. Check your fuel mixture ratios carefully. I’m guessing this thing like most small engines (2T) will require a fairly strict 50/1 ratio. I tend to run things at more like 30/1 or 40/1 to protect the engine, and suffer the fumes accordingly. If you don’t have one, buy a 2 stroke fuel mixing bottle from Screwfix / Toolstation / B&Q. Etc. Fill the petrol to the line and then add two stroke oil to your preferred ratio. Secondly prime the carb, start the engine and let run for a few minutes, to warm up. If you are experiencing low rev stutters, it might be worth adjusting the carburettor using the idle or LOW screw. If the engine runs rough and feels unable to ‘rev out’ at the full throttle position,mit maybe need adjustments on the HIGH screw. Some carburettors have adjuster screws that work with a slim flat head screwdriver, others require specialist tools which a set on Amazon is quite affordable. Once you’ve got the oil/petrol mix right, and the carb running nicely, you should be golden. Bear in mind, these things will ALWAYS kick out some smoke by the nature of the engines. I love two stroke engines for their light weight, simplicity and ability to be used at all angles. Having one strapped to your back is bound to cause some fume inhalation, so if this is a problem a four stroke unit will be less obnoxious. Let me know how you get on 👍🏻 🙂

@NewWorldHoarder hi mate thanks for replying. mine is 2 stroke. I use choke when cold. And it revs more when put choke off. It jumping on the ground like moving itself. I don't think it should be so jittery. Also I use correct 40/1 ratio of oil nd petrol. How do u ajust the carburetor on this model? Can u do it without takin it apart ? It's blowing out awful blue fumes. It stinks of burning petrol or oil. It's a new machine so shouldn't smell this potent

On the price point, for what you have. When the warranty runs out, their is no reason not to improve it, such as relocation of primer bulb, replacement of shoulder straps and making the ergonomics work better for yourself! Hyundai is following the footsteps of Honda, in the product lines of merchandise, cars, lawn and garden equipment, and such, at a lower price point. This is not a bad thing, but they are not Stihl, ,Husqvarna Redmax, or even Echo, give it time and one of two things will happen, either you will love it or hate it! By the way, you need a small tractor for that property! 🤣😂🤣😂 to even out that string trimming job, and mulch up some of the castings. I would stick with the 2 strokes leaf blowers over the 4 strokes, all my friends bought 4 strokes, and with in 3 months returned all of them to buy 2 stroke models!, their reason was “not strong enough”!

Fair point, especially about the compact tractor!!
