Trees and leaves are a nuisance for us into lawn care, everyday I have to clear leaves off mine out the front, used to have to do my back also as the neighbour had a huge ash tree in his back garden, about three years ago I asked if I could ring the tree to kill it as I was pissed off every year with all the leaves falling off in my garden, he said it was o.k, anyway after three years of it being dead, the storm we had a few months ago brought the tree right down breaking the fences and laying right across my back garden. Luckily just the fencing that suffered damage, but so glad it is now gone for good, no more leaves to worry about at least in my back garden😂🥳🥳that hyundai blower looks a nice bit of kit, very powerful. I bought a cheap rechargeable battery mcgregor leaf blower a few months ago, but it turned out a waste of money, battery lasts no longer than ten minutes before going flat and needing charging again, and I think more blowing power comes out of a hair dryer🤦 Hate this time of year not being able to get the lawns looking stunning. May mow mine one more time when we get a few dry days, but at a pretty high height of cut, ready for when the frost starts, and possibly snow etc in a couple of months.

@@Quickgiraffe problem with the leaves on an ornamental lawn this time of year is if I leave them there, they block what very little daylight hours we get this time of year, so the grass gets diseased underneath them if they are not removed, but I appreciate some people love trees and the good that they do also, but they are not on my like list🤣In Summer when the tree was still up out my neighbours back, it also blocked a lot of the sun coming in my garden, so glad it is gone.

Cannot wait for spring. Longer days, drier, warmer! The lawn could potentially be cut on Christmas the way its holding up!
