That was not even a 50% flush. You just drained the radiator which is about 40-50% of the total coolant. With the heater on you should of drained the radiator at least two to three times to get rid of the total anti freeze. Adding distilled water is required. When the water flushed out comes out clear now your done. Drain the radiator and put in 100% concentrated anti freeze. Start the engine to let the water and anti freeze mix. Now check your freezing level of the mixture. Should be close to -35 degrees. If you have to add more anti freeze you can drain some out of the radiator and add concentrated to reach the correct level. Now you’ve done a total radiator flush. If a mechanic is doing the work find out what he is actually going to do. They charge you enough for labor. This is why I do it myself.

Yup. Not that bad of a job to drain and fill a few times to cycle all the new coolant through. Just time consuming to wait for the engine to cool between drives and draining.

You have to use oem antifreeze or you will have problems leak on your car like i did
