How in the world this is more efficient then verna being a sedan aerodynamic design?

Sources (not fully reliable) within Hyundai tell us that Verna's powertrain is tuned differently despite the same output. We didn't mention it in the video because we were not 100% sure about this fact. It's also worth noting that both Creta DCT & Verna DCT returned very similar efficiency on highways, where Verna's more aerodynamic design would have helped; but not in city.

Creta IVT sells much more than DCT. Then don't you think IVT mileage test should be conducted first rather than of DCT? I think this is already overdue for a long time? Such a comparison woukd surelyv viewers to decide between Creta IVT & Elevate CVT?

Power of CVT is nothing when compared to turbo. If you need power and driving fun, go for turbo. I myself felt CVT underpowered and now I have booked turbo

Great review and definitely helpful. One Suggestion - Please have 3+ categories for mileage tests - 1) City - Delhi vs Bangalore (worst traffic in India where 10kms takes 45mins to 1hr) will be a good comparison My guess is DCT would give 7 to 8kmpl in Blr Traffic against 10.8 in Delhi 2) Highway - Sedate (moderate acceleration and speeds 80-110) - This you are currently covering Here worth to mention in your reviews that the trick is to drive in a way so that the Turbo does not kickin, hence so much mileage (applies to any tubrocharged car) 3) Highway - Aggressive (Harder acceleration and speeds 120-130). Suggesting this because, even a Fortuner 4X4 AT (I own one) can give 17kmpl if driven at 80-90kmph on a long free highway, which of course is not a right indicator of its 'highway' mileage for a regular person. My guess is DCT would give 11 to 14kmpl in this style

Interesting! in your own test of Creta N-Line, same engine with same transmission yielded 15+ kmpl. While here you got 18+ kmpl with the non N-Line model.. Something doesn't seem to be right here...🤔

The N Line has larger wheels (more rotating mass) and the maximum outside temperature in both the tests differs by 8 degrees. The N Line was also tested and shot on the same day as it was the first drive shoot of that car whereas we tested the efficiency and shot the regular Creta DCT on different days as we had the car for a longer term. All these factors make a lot of difference when it comes to efficiency.

It is doubtful that DCT turbo petrol will give this much mileage. Nowhere they have shown the odometer reading. It was only tachometer reading. This seems not correct. Many of the users are crying even with NA Petrol engine and these V3 guys are saying DCT is giving this much average. It would be 8-10 in city and 11-13 on highway.

Sound is very less inside. It is a pleasure to drive once turbo hits. There is a lag though but that is overpowered by the turbo after it hits.

I heard that real life mileage of MG HECTOR is 6-9 kmpl only but your data shows Hector’s mileage as more than 10kmpl. Why Citroen C3 Aircross is not compared in this comparison? I guess this review has to be compared with the compact SUV cars only, to give better idea to the buyers that which car actually is better for them. Rather than going for cosmetics, there are few cars like Citroen which are reliable, having better durability of parts & cheaper maintenance cost as comparing with other Compact SUVs. & It has a great engine, built & performance as well
