An important step you left out.Before tightening the control arm bolts jack up the control arm in order to take stress off the rubber bushings.

Just ugga dugga it. Hahaha , joking aside, the balljoint nut at 72 ft.lb, front bolt of the control arm 86 ft.lb and then the nut and bolt at the back 130 ft.lb hope that hel0s

Hey Marko! I cannot find info on the torque settings for the 3 control arm bolts for my 2017 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T. Would you be able to help me out with this information please! I have a slight knock noise but tightened the rear bolt without a torque wrench and i was able to tighten it a little and the noise is almost gone, but i fear overtightening it. Thank you in advance!

The front control arm the vertical bolt is 101 ft.lb, the horizontal one is 110 ft.lb then the bolt that holds the ball joint to the knuckle is 86 ft.lb. the rear control arm at 115 ft.lb

Just changed my lower control arm passenger side and my car steering is pulling to the left when driving. It was fine before changing the control arm

After 2 weeks your probably already figured it out by now, and took it to a shop for a wheel alignment. Anytime you deal with the changing and the replacing of parts when it comes the suspension system(struts, control arm, steering link, and tie rods)alignment should be schedule at the nearest trusted commercial service shop

Removing the knuckle is not necessary at all

Yeah just pop the lower ball joint off and you're ready to remove the control arm...

Agreed. He also hung the entire weight of the knuckle on the tire rod.
