Hyundai Elantra 2021 Bumper Removal and headlight upgrade (how to)

My brother is convinced the youtube community wants so Elantra content.. lets just see haha. In todays video we remove the front bumper to install new LED headlight bulbs.

For anyone thinking about doing this, if you have someone with small hands you can avoid taking off the bumper and go through the hood instead. My fiancé and I live in an apartment so we don’t really have the space to take off our bumper but we had success without having to do so. Also, the lights linked in the description fit perfectly for our 2021 Elantra and look so much better than the ones that came equipped. Great video!

Adding to this. After doing this upgrade myself. Note when doing the small hands way. If you slip while turning the bulb and it falls off your hands it can slide deeper in and become stuck in a deep chamber that is impossible to retrieve the bulb from without taking off the bumper and removing the headlight assembly. I learned the hard way. Lol.

You can turn the wheel and do it with regular sized hands

Guys its very difficult not easy to do it from the hood i was trying to do it today and i put the bulbs and i find out i didn’t twist to the right way and the light going everywhere not 3:9

I watched the video and wanted to see if I could take out the bulb without taking the bumper off, and I was able to take out the original halogen bulb completely out and put it back in there is a 45 degree counter-clockwise turn to take it and clockwise turn to put in place. The circular cap on the back of headlight is like semi air tight so don't think its stuck and you can turn the cap about 35 degrees each way and it will let you pull It off. Ordered the bulbs they will be here tomorrow and I will throw them in. Good Video for bumper removal !!

i had to take off the bumper and everything before any videos existed just to put on led's for my headlights too. i had to order another pair as well bc the first didnt fit. ebay has some that fit perfectly and the swap is pretty worth~

I upgraded my Elantra n lines headlights by going through the fender liner with wheel turned. Way faster than removing the bumper. Just a tip if you ever need to replace another bulb!

There is no room for the n line because it come with 18 inch wheels I trying today and I didn’t twist the bulbs to the right position i have to take off the wheels

You don’t need to take the bumper off.. you don’t need to reach overtop either. I did mine by popping 6 clips on the wheel well liner and pulling the plastic back a bit and you can clearly access the headlight cap from the wheel well if you turn your tires

Add the led tail light like (N line) straight across rear lights, or maybe the (limited) tail lights, one of the models has the H pattern led lights. Do a video on that, please and thanks

Bro If, I really want you to make video for Elantra’s rear bumper.... because the design of bumper is awkward from inside.... snow or dust can easily enter in bumper and makes sound.... i want you to find solutions to fix that

Hopefully someone can get back to me, so my left daylight running lights are completely dead, during nighttime you can barely see them compared to my right side. This means I need a whole new left side headlight assembly, correct ?

I was seeing a video here that guy has a elantra 2021 and he used the fahren hb3 but when i checked on amazon said dont fit my car elantra 2021 so i called heise techsupport and the told me the h4 of heise is similiar to the factory light bulb.

FYI you do not have to remove the bumper. I replaced headlights on two 2021 elantras, you just need small hands because it is a tight fit

I have a 2021 Elantra and I've done this exact swap in 10 minutes you DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE BUMPER OR HEADLIGHTS OR FENDER WELL. This is totally not necessary!

It takes like 5 min .jesus you don't even have to take the bumper off ..put the front on jack stands and pop the door in the tire well..this is beyond dumb

Hit a blown-out tire at night. Messed up the bottom grille and bumper. This may help if I replace it myself.
