Baleno is best and its sales record speaks for itself,though it is of same price as I20. Reasons are: its Engine response is far better than I20 with better fuel economy( this is called true innovation, better performance with less fuel) , Suzuki has done a good job by introducing new heartect platform which enabled them to reduce Car weight. Just 150-200 KG more weight doesn't make a car safe, safety features brings safety. Hyundai is unable to reduce their car weight and they are selling it by quoting SAFE CAR( are you kidding ?) . Just go ahead with test drive of both and then choose. PS: If heavy weight defines the car safety then ambassador would be the safest car

I am a Baleno owner.. The complaint that i have of the vehicle is its suspension and light sheet metal which can give u a dent with a small push. I usually prefer cars for long drives that is where its suspension is so annoying.. You will feel very tired after a long drive especially if the number of occupants is not more than two as it gives you firm jolts with each passing bumps and potholes followed up by annoying noise that creeps into the cabin . It cannot be called a premium car as its plastic quality and fit and finish is just about average and Its a pain driving this car in village and suburban roads in india as the road quality is pretty bad. Firmer suspension has its merits in winding roads and even highways as it is relatively stable. The engine is also pretty smooth and gives a good mileage and maintenance is not worrying wither. It is spacious among all the cars sub 4 meter hatchs that is out there and u will have the best leg room and head room and i think jazz is its only competition there. I am looking forward to switch to a bigger car for better safety, ride quality. I would have made peace with all other small shortcomings of this car and would not have looked for another vehicle atleast for the next 4 years if only baleno had better ride quality.

And at high speeds of 60 and above there is terrible road noise coming inside the cabin. Very noisy. Not expected from a 7-8 lac premium hatchback.

i20 n bhi koi jyada teer ni maare h, in terms of built quality. there is only slite difference in built quality of Baleno & i20.... The main difference is..... Baleno have Curved lined body & i20 have straight lines body , curved body get bend easily & that's it....no big difference in the metal used... & yha there are lots of pics over the internet about i20 accident too , in those pics i20 is fully damaged like a piece of tin can.

I20 is a unstable car specially in high speed and have a chronic breaking problem. Cheap parts are used that's why during every servicing time some parts are replaced/repaired and you will be charged a lot. Resale value is very poor due to this. Only good things is it's looks and build quality. Better to buy swift or baleno. 0 maintenance cost and life long service.

All 3 i20, baleno & swift are a great package, but fit & finish wise hyundai i20 is the best as well as the engine 1.4 crdi is a peppy plus refined one. Same baleno is a great choice if looking for muleage purpose as well as some good features, but built quality is an issue as nonetheless its the brand MS which is y its running smoothly in indian market topping on frequent basis. On the other hand swift has been a lady luck for past decade & still with some ok upadate version its a first choice for aspiring car lovers.

Gaadiwaadi.com company average claims 29 or 30 kmpl when we look at instrument cluster in reality we don't get it..so exact mileage full tank is best way to know..
