I bought EXTER 5 days ago SXo Petrol Starry night color. Mileage average 17 to 18.2. Bad road noise is felt from the wheels inside the car , but the suspension is good. The car seat position is low so tall people will have difficulty getting out of the car. Engine performance is very good, soundless engine. The headlight brightness is very bad on the highway at night which is not enough at all. It is a feature loaded average car. It is more like feature loaded hyundai's Wagon r.

I am searching a car with budget of 8.5 and I inspected Punch and Exter both. Dont know why everyone is comparing Punch with Exter and making so much hype of it. Exter is costly than PUNCH I want to clarify certain point. 1. Price is not same, if u go for base model then its fine. U get 4 cylinder engine with exter and 5 star rating with PUNCH but all features are missing in both the cars. 2. Now for 8.5 laks we have Punch Adventure Rythm and Exter S. In punch u will get touch infotainment, auto foldable ORVM, back camera etc. but these things are missing in exter as it give manual infotainment and no auto foldable orvm. 3. Kindly watch back wheel of Exter by visiting Hyndai show room, its body gets pressed inside the back wheel. I tested it with just a one boy of approx. 50 Kgs weight and Exter body gets pressed too much inside the wheel.(Test it by urselves) Dont know what will happen if car get fully loaded with passengers and luggage. 4. Jara ek baar Tata Punch mai beth kar dekhiye, aapko khud mehsoos hoga kee aap heavy, bulky vehicle chala rahe hain jabki exter main aapko sedan jaisi hee feeling ayegi. 5 No doubt engine Exter ha achha hai lekin hyndai ne koi naya engine nahin devlop kiya hai exter ke liye, wahi i10, i20 aura , venue waala engine hai means R & D cost kuch nahin lagi wahi jo engine pada hua thaa pehle se usey hee laga diya hai exter main. Baatein toh bahut hain par kitna type karoon😆

Reliability kitni h Punch ki? Sunroof kaha h Punch m? Mileage aur power dono kaha h Punch m? Design subjective h, sabko alag pasand. Cabin space zyada kisme h? Yahi h ke Hyundai ki built quality achchi nhi h aur Tata ki reliability aur resale value, overall city usage keliye Exter lena chahiye aur Highway keliye punch.

@@dr.sudhabindudas303 Sun roof top model mai hai, BS6 phase 2 model chalaya aapne PUNCH ka? Mujhe toh under power nahin lagi, almost 40 degree kee height par bhi gaadi ko maine 0 se uthaaya. Average same hai dono gaadiyon kaa 19-20 kaa antar hee hai dono kay engine main. aur haan mujhe bhagaane ke liye nahin chaiye chalane ke liye chahiye.

@@amitmukherjee4732 if u think 6 air bag is saftey, what can I say? Ek baar dono gadiyon main beth kar dekhiye, PUNCH will give feeling of bulky and heaviness while exter give vibes of sedan. And defiantly PUNCH has much more better suspension than Exter. Thoda A pillar par bhi nazar mariyega Exter kee, it has more blind spot. Inn KZbinrs kay bharose matt rahiye sir, khud jaa kar experience keejiye

A small correction, even in SX you would get capped wheels not the actual alloy wheels. Only in sx(o) they are providing alloy wheels

Hyundai, the worst I experienced is "Dense fog" frequently objected on headlight of Hyundai Asta i20, while night drive and rain could not be rectified despite efforts made by the delear twice. Now, I'm clue less as to how to resolve the issue.

Designwise, Hyundai has done a good job in the Front for Exter. But the rear looks very ugly. Just like the rear look of Maruti Swift with an oversized grill like design with Hyundai logo. Totally disappointing rear side.
