Figo TDCI is simply unmatched in terms of both performance and efficiency. Swift and nios.. no chance. They don't deserved to compare with the 'diesel monster' Ford Figo. Except VW Polo GT TDI and Skoda Octavia there is no diesel cars be it hatchback, sedan, or SUV under 25 lakhs which has the guts to lock horn with diesel figo...💥💥🔥🔥🚀🚀

Figo has turbo lag? Seriously bro? The engine just responds right after 1500 rpm, while the other cars compared starts responding after 1800 or 2000 rpm. Absolutely true that older Figo is way better handler than the current but do you really see it as looser in the corner comparative to swift? When you don't have better communication from steering wheel, how can that vehicle be a better handler in corner??

Well, the most fundamental/important things you expect from a car is 1. Safety 2. Engine performance / Life and good mileage 3. A comfortable seating. All the remaining things come after these things. I believe Figo truly meets these things in the order. I would definitely prefer to go for a car with 6 airbags, powerful engine in same range than opting for a car which has Andriod car play / wireless charger. How many people will bother about things like plastics quality in dashboard, DRLs after an year ..?

I have a second gen dzire, I use to drive whole day, and I love the steering feedback and feel which it offers, which I simply like it,especially with a petrol engine, because this multiplies the fun factor just that little bit more. Why do people lose their shit when someone says something good about the swift..! It's a good, well engineered car. They pointed out the valid cons also. Dear Hari Ill show U 1 video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/lavGnnuBaNtrZ6c sure it does not ve the Swift but check how it is way way better than what paid reviews tell u. The actual goodness of a car s how it drives.. it is 1000 times more difficult to make a good behaving FWD car than a car with rear AC vents, some LEDs, and some stupid designed plastics. The co effecient of springs, the caster and cambers, the steering rack ratio, the front axle geometry. Its a painstaking task that Ford has done that no others do.. but Indians like U and many are blind.

Figo titanium blu is the ONE. It’s the Enthusiast car/Driver’s car. And the 1.5 diesel how’d you complain the performance n handling 😂. The Swift is a gret car but yeah it gets all the odds to win over the figo all the way! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Firstly I liked the format in which the comparo has been made. Its like a proper discussion. Also the boot test, please try and use/similar luggage to test boot space of all future reviews, it gives a better understanding of the boot design than just space. People speak so high of swift diesel, most people forget its a FIAT. Sometimes I wonder if Fiat hadn't shared the engine with Maruti or Tata, would they have sold more? After using a Diesel Linea for over 8 years and 100000+kms, I can safely say, though at times it did feel underpowered, but what fun it was to rev the nuts outta the engine. The engine also sounded, louder but sweeter than it did in Tata or Maruti. We moved from the Multijet to iDtec WRV, though its so much more driveable than Multijet, fun it is not! Among the Trio, I would pick the Figo for my personal use and Nios if it was for a family.

Karthik Sir please do a honest review. Your reviews are always good but not this review. Presentation was good but this review is baised. Figo is a clear winner because it is cheapest here & has much better engine & dynamics. Boot space there is no much difference. Older ford cars were better handling. Nowadays ford is cheaper to maintain.

@@SirKart if u blame about ford's handling, what about the handling of grand i10?? All Hyundai cars have lifeless steering and that's the reason I avoided buying i20.. During the i20 test drive, steering was like a video game one at speeds around 20kmph..imagine how it will feel at 100.. No wonder everyone are saying that u r biased.. Ford's diesel 1.5 is no match for any cars under 10 lakhs.. It drives like a petrol car with almost zero turbo lag.. Instant power at any gears..

@@SirKart ease of driving is not a problem sir because I had driven aspire for 2 days and I never found tiresome to drive. Handling I do agree older ford cars were better but it is definitely better than maruti Suzuki & hyundai cars. Turbo lag what you have mentioned is not correct there is absolutely no turbo lag is figo. Driveblity is the strong point of all ford diesel cars. 1.5 tdci is absolutely gem of a engine. Even fuel efficiency is also very good.

Yes agreed that the Figo's gearing ratios are a bit short especially with the first and second gear but it's very much precise. Considering the competition, Ford always had their noses ahead when it comes to the gearbox game, don't you think?

Any time any day Figo wins among all it's competitors . My family own 4 hatch backs Figo is one of them and it's gem .. in every aspect Figo wins for sure. Especially with that power .. may be that car doesn't comes with useless features like many car does But has every imp features and the best is 6 airbags. And handling is best among those 3. Sad to see many Indians got fooled by many paid reviews by other brands . ,,😂Even today I'm getting all parts for ford with bit lesser price than the Suzuki And what the f,,k turbo lag in Figo 😂😂😂😂what a joke

I traveled on different models of Swifts (Dezire,Tour & HB) and I have to say that the rear seat in swift is the worst thing on earth to experience in the bumpy roads.We own a 2013 Figo Titanium & a 2014 Fiesta classic (both are 1.4l TDCi). I feel safer & comfortable to sit inside and fun to drive in these cars.
