Hi Neo, a 17mm spanner for the sump plug, spark plug spanner for the plugs, oil filter removal wrench or chain for the oil filter, a receptacle to catch the old oil and some rags to wipe away spills and mess, good luck.

They are going on the "100,000kms or 5 years" whichever comes 1st rule, yes it is true. This is recommended by most car Brand manufacturers.

I finally serviced my 1.1 Motion for 75000km yesterday was a bit nervous cause I must say but all went well. One issue was taking out the oil filter there's not enough room to swing had to remove the manifold cover. I wish I did a video...thank you again

Sir I have a new generation Santro (2020 model). Should I use a low weight like 5w30 or is it even better to use a heavy duty oil like 15w 40 for longer engine life and noise reduction?? Can I use a API SG (older)grade engine oils which is considered obsolete for newer vehicles?

A 5w30 oil is always good to use on a newer type of car with low mileage, as it ages it is best to use 15w40 especially over 100k.
