PS: Roland I only have a cheap ass MG4 (but I luv it). The first thing I did was buy a WiFi Android Car Auto to plug into the USB C, so as I didn't have to use a cable between my phone and the port. Not sure why more reviewers don't mention this. I get in my car with phone in my pocket and Android Auto works fine.

That's a good thing to have. Can't talk for other reviewers but from my perspective; I didn't even think to mention in because it's something additional you would be buying as opposed to a standard feature. Either way it's a valid point and I'll see if I remember this in the next one. I'm sure there are plenty of cars that still have wired android auto/apple carplay! Wireless is SO convenient though!

@ZappedAU Good point, it isn't part of the included features and an extra $30 - $70 on Amazon for a wireless dongle, many may be happier to just run the cable.

Thanks Rolan i like your review style. The range & speedo numbers are in large numbers easy to read but % battery remaining in small numbers lower left of screen. Should be in large numbers & in a more prominent position on the screen like the range in klm remaining.

Thanks - appreciate the feedback! Valid points - I think there should be an option to change the display configuration stuff around to cater for people that want it larger or in a "different location". THAT would be amazing!

this car and the Ioniq 5 got recalled a few days ago? apparently due to some software issue the car could potentially stop working and go cold turkey as one driving? physical software update (take to dealership) and not an OTA update
@ZappedAUАй бұрын
It was to do with the 12v. Here's a snippet of the official recall: What are the defects? Due to a software issue in the Integrated Charging Control Unit, the auxiliary 12 Volt battery may not charge as intended, resulting in battery drainage and loss of motive power. What are the hazards? A loss of motive power whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and/or other road users. What should consumers do? Owners of affected vehicles can contact their nearest authorised Hyundai dealer to schedule an appointment to have the software updated, free of charge.

Is this the 2025 version?
@ZappedAUАй бұрын
Unfortunately not. None of the refreshed models are here yet to my knowledge but when it is here, I'll be sure to get my hands on one!

It is just waaaayyy too overpriced. It is cool looking, but with small screens, and unrefined assistance systems there is no way people are going to buy it. The interior is alright but not 100k car interior and with 5 sec 0-100 it should be around 60k driveway may be even cheaper.

I have seen recently an IONIQ 5N for 95k (RRP is 125k) so I would like to think that these are also being discounted heavily towards the price you've mentioned.

I was never a fan of this car. For the price it seemed cheap looking

I still think it's a very unique shape - one that will sway people to either like or hate it. Not many in between. It's definitely an expensive car and will need to hold up it's weight in 2025 as there's so much competition coming.
