Got to say, this new retro style is looking pretty good. Not a fan of the ioniq 6, but it looks okay with the wing. Hyundai is looking better every year. They are slowly gaining more brand value and trust from consumers.

I desperately hope that I am wrong, but I doubt the Vision 74 will ever make it to production status. The reason why we don't see cars that look like this anymore is thanks to modern safety standards. They limit design options a lot. Hyundai may have engineered a solution to allow the car to look like that and still meet safety standards, but it'll likely add to the cost of the final product.

These are the defining moments in the life of a brand. Capitalizing at a time when the industry is pivoting in a new direction is an opportunity that doesn't come around often and it seems like Hyundai can see this. Hyundai is bringing excitement back to design and really pushing the envelope, unlike most other companies currently. We will have to wait and see if they actually pull the trigger on production but I hope to see them on the road. That's the first time I have made any such comment regarding this brand. Great work so far. 👏

It won't happen. Nothing about that concept meets pedestrian safety regs and even if they redesigned it into the bar of soap required to pass, it'll cost more than 99% of its target demographic can afford.

The N Vision 74 is the most beautiful car I've ever seen. I cannot believe it exists beyond a concept artists rough sketches. Seeing their built version in action gives me hope that I can buy and drive a car like that some day. That is the closest a dream car will ever become a reality in my eyes.

I believe the car design that inspired the N Vision 74 they are referring to was from John DeLorean that Hyundai rejected back in 1974. So this is essentially a DeLorean-inspired design.

PONY!!! Amazing wow lol . Had an 84 Pony as my first car when I was 16 back in 92. 1.4L and a 4 SPD manual trans haha. Then i upgraded to the Hyundai Stellar 1 year later. Since then my family here in Canada has owned 15+ Hyundai cars since 1995. My self i still own a 1992 Hyundai sonata with a big turbo and a fully built race motor (4g63T) . Made 475 whp on pump gas at 15 psi low boost . Been parked in storage since 2009. Hoping to rebuild it again one day. I love Hyundai and where they are heading with the N division . Can’t believe my eyes, how cool is that!!! Future technology in retro design but modern elements in the hydrogen version. Hyundai gehts more love from day to day and will have a leading position in the next years if the keep on going this way. Hyundai have some of the best car designers out there at the moment. Everything they're making is just wild. Great part is they're all just ordinary folks with a lot of passion, and Hyundai as a brand isn't afraid to show that these cars are actually produced by real engineers and enthusiasts, and their cars don't just exist in a hermetically sealed box, like in most car promos. The outtakes at the end just topped it off. Fantastic job.

JDM is dying for the most part. Honda only makes one sports car. Nissan only has one. Toyota has two but only one of them can really appeal to the younger enthusiast market since the Supra is so expensive. Subaru is still going strong and I don't even count Mazda at this point as difficult as it is to say.
