I'm old enough to remember when Hyundai cars came to the US in the 1980's. The quality of the cars was cheap, only slightly better than Yugo. Today, they're a major global player, with outstanding products.

This is a super amazing manufacturing operation, from sheet metal for the body, heavy metal for the engine assembly and to a complete 💯 finished car. Truly impressive. Why are the cars so damn expensive when most of the productions are robotics and auto action?

IG Metall: "vee kannot kompete wis "Cheap Korea Labor!" OK whatever you say 🤣. Notice that EVERYTHING from the raw steel rolls to the Robots and everything is made by Hyundai. Also notice that as they are assembled, everything is DFM (Designed For efficient Manufacture). Honda, Toyota and VW should be watching their backs! Nice factory, Nice Video!
