I need help my clutch pedal only goes halfway down I took the slave cylinder off in my release arm will not move it will only move if I use Leverage. Can someone give me an opinion on what they think might be wrong is it internally or is it something else?

I actually took a closer look at mine today after commenting. And it looks a little different. My car is a 2010 Elantra Blue with a 2.0L 5-speed. How would you remove the throw out bearing from the clutch

I have a 2015 Accent, and I have to push the clutch pedal all the way to the floor, is there an adjustment so the clutch disengages closer to the top of the pedal. Based on your video, is the clutch wear, causing the stroke length, or is the pedal on the floor mean, I have a newer clutch. I just bought the car and 99% of the people I talked too, don't understand my question

At the end of the video when you pushed on it and forced the click, was the transmission already back I place and screwed onto the engine ? Or was it still cracked open and in bolted like in the beginning of the video? Thanks

I have 97 Elantra GLS, 1.8L. 5 speed. The Bell-housing on the Gearbox/Manual Trans. is busted, and i wish to change it...or replace the entire Manual Transmission...do you know where i can get it online to order etc. It is exactly like the MT youre working on. (Thank You)

i followed the instructions and did the same as the video but once i push the release lever to hear the click then i cant push the clutch because the slave cylinder piston keeps pushing the releaze lever so far out it makes the throwout bearing pop off again. anyone know what i could have done wrong ?

I see you've recently responded to questions, so hopefully you'll respond to mine. I've replaced the pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch, master/slave cylinders/lines, and have also pushed the lever arm towards the slave cylinder and havent hear a click until the arm goes away from the cylinder. What exactly would the problem be? its a 2003 hyundai tiburon gt with a 2.7 liter and 6 speed transmission. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

@@perfectionclutch So I've done what you said and it's still not working. It's like the throw out bearing keeps slipping out. It has minimal play and then whenever you push the arm away from the slave cylinder, it pops out and has too much slack in it. I don't understand how it would be slipping out if it has that stupid retainer ring that's nearly impossible to get the bearing out of. Is there possibly a number I could reach you at, because I've been at this for about a month trying to figure out what the problem is.

Ian Stephen I have the same problem.. What worked for you? Transmission off and pushing the ring together for better grip on that bearing??

Ian Stephen I was also in the mood yesterday to ignite the car 🔥😂 But I tried to separate the transmission yesterday. I adjusted the circle to point down. (I had it at an angle during the first installation). after pushing the lever I heard it click into the TOB. And I think it's in place.

What I wanted to say was, your video was used as procedural support for a mechanic who didn't speak english. The pull-type clutch system and throw out bearing procedure was key to watch for him..Thanks again.
