Purchase this unit a while back and the usb cord did not work at all and my USB port on my Sonata never worked. I contacted the company and they never assisted me or sent me another 6 port usb cable

I just had this installed, there was no sound. They said it would not work with the factory amp system and it would need to be rewired. And I lost my rear view camera. WTF

So the company I got the radio from emailed me back, turns out since I have the dimension audio system from factory I have a can-bus system that controls the factory amp and tells it when to turn on from a signal. I have to buy a special can-bus adapter for this radio to work in my car. I ordered it, it was 70.00

That happened to me also. Do you have a limited version by chance? For the factory Dimension amp they had to ship out a different wiring harness and box. It brought the sound back but to be honest the back speakers don't work or at least when you use the equalizer and fade, the back can't be used by itself. So it's not perfect. They did ask when I purchased whether I had a rearview camera because it needed wiring for that or an adapter.

When this happens u have to Sauter the amp wire to the positive power wire which is the thick Red Wire that will power your amp to play sound.

Hello, limited version will have factory sounds amplifer(Infinity or Dimension), after replacement it will have no sounds, the solution is to bypass the factory amplifier to use, it needs to rewire and will be complex for DIY, usually car stereo store can bypass it, so Limited vers have pros & cons.

I just bought and installed one from siecane.com for my 2012 Sonata limited. Installed with a Phillips and flathead screwdriver and every thing works. Wheel control, sound, backup camera!!!

@@MrRick4791 I have the 2012 hyundai limited as well having issues with mine took it to installer they're having issues installing couldnt get backup camera to work and steering controls...when i took it back for steering and backup camera fix he just pulled it out and put it back in then error codes started popping up for vehicle..
