This tutorial demonstrates how to replace the fog light bulb on 2018 Hyundai Tucson. The LED bulb H11/H8 is applicable for 2016-2020 Hyundai Tucson fog light
NOTE: LS series H11 LED bulbs are not available, new series LAplus series H11LED bulbs work great on Hyundai Tucson.

How to change fog light with LEDs?
1. Turning the steering wheel all the way in the opposite direction of the fog light bulb.
Turning the front wheels will create more working room in the wheel well to access the rear of the light housing and the halogen bulb.
2. Locate the three round black plastic pop rivet fasteners on the outer edge of the wheel well liner or "splash guard" located in front of the tire.
3. Carefully pry out the smaller center-piece of the pop rivet with the flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry bar tool. Then pry out the base of the fastener and remove it from the wheel well liner.
4. Remove the three pop rivets along the front outer edge of the wheel well liner. Set the pop rivets aside in a safe place. Carefully pull back the wheel well liner to access the fog light housing and the halogen bulb
5. Disconnect the power plug, and twist out the halogen bulb.
6. Insert LED bulb into the housing, twist to the right side and lock it
7. Connect the power plug.

Holy moly, what a dramatic difference to our Tucson! We installed the LED fog lamp bulbs this afternoon. This video does not do justice how dramatic the difference is. The brightness increased so substantially on our Tucson that my mechanic rotated the angle-dial down on both to not have the new LED fog lamps beam a curtain at the opposing drivers' eyes. This was a superb investment. Before, the incandescent fog lamps looked like a footnote to the low beams. Now, the low beams look like a footnote to the fog lamps.

Hi, we're not sure when we'll do videos for 2019 Santa Fe. But we have LED lights for 2019 Santa Fe, fog light is H11, same as Hyundai Tucson fog light bulb size: bit.ly/2UckdHP As for low beam, we checked there are two types for 2017 Santa Fe: 1. The headlight high beam and low beam are separate bulbs, the stock high beam and low beam are LEDs already. These LED bulbs do not fit. 2. I just got the fog light bulbs in the mail(Looks to be H8/9/11/16-N) and noticed in the video that there is a module(branded Lasfit) between the bulb and the OEM harness on the car which wasn't included with the bulbs. Is that something I also need or do these bulbs connect directly into the existing vehicles harness? Its a 2018 Tuscon. Thanks!

Hi, you can connect these bulbs directly. The LED bulbs you bought are built-in driver(the module). In this video, these LED bulbs are external driver. They are not available now.

@@jackcatalig Actually, if these after-market LED bulbs are two sides with LED chips, the correction direction is two side face to face, not up-down. Did you purchase these LED bulbs from Lasfit?

Hello, are these LED bulbs dimable? my Tucson 2019 Highlander uses these lights to slowly iluminate when you turn corners and then they slowly turn off again. If they are not dimable, they will just flash on and off as you go around corners., which will be a bit a little annoying.

I tried to follow this tutorial for a 2014 Tucson SE, but if you just simply pop the hood, you can reach in and pull the fog lights right out. No need to pull off any panels. Just an FYI.

Hi, 2014 Tucson is different from 2016-2019 Tucson headlights. For your 2014 Tucson, headlight is projector type, which high beam and low beam work on a same bulb. The headlight bulb size is 9012. they’re not illegal if they have the same light beam setting, and are not colored. Led lights are inly illegal if they shine in a manner that blinds oncoming traffic.As long as common sense is used in the installation and adjusting of them, all is fine

they dont have to be stamped with a dot rating if they are bulbs, only the entire light housing has to be dot approved. see my other comment for bulb restrictions.

as long as they are aimed properly and not colored, they will be legal.if you are blinded by led lights ( in a factory housing) someone has added the bulbs but been a jerk and not adjusted them correctly. there is no such thing as a dot or sae rating for led bulbs.dot has tested and approved led lights and they are legal, if they are replacement bulbs for factory bulbs. of course off road led light kits won’t be legal for on road use
