the turbo is only a 1.6 liter engine.. rhys millen did a swap with a 2.0 theta from a sonata for his rally car but as far as i know the veloster turbo is being sold as a 1.6 liter engine so that way it is more fuel efficient.. but i would take less fuel economy even if it meant more money.. i think they don't offer fit that way so people have to pay the big bucks for the genesis coupe if they want a real tuner car

Nice, but without the extra power of turbo, it is still a very slow car. Well, at least people can see all these cool mods a little longer (cus it is soooooooo slow).

The Veloster is a far better car than any Honda or Nissan in the same NEW Car price segment. Throw $2k at any factory turbo car and throw $2k at ant naturally aspirated car(honda, nissan) and figure out which car will make more power for that $2k. Unlike you wannabes, I own a 445 whp 06 STi and just sold a 07 ZX-10R with nitrous. I am buying a Veloster Turbo in 3 months when my 06 STi is paid off for daily driving. And I will mod it and get 35 mpg with 260hp(not whp) . My STi gets 20mpghwy

hyundais are better quality not performance,my freinds 2004 sonata has 180000 miles on it,its not fast, but till now it didnt have problems.
