He tried to keep his composure but the trauma got the better of him, that’s why when he saw Skid trying to catch up to him, it reminded him of his little brother Yoyo as well as all of the suffering he’s been through It’s the same with Skid’s though his trauma is the opposite case, nonetheless still sad

This animation is so beautiful. But I also want to point out how neither characters trauma is treated like a "power up button". The typical thing would be to go all dark mode and start kicking butt, but it's still just two people fighting even when they're both having flashbacks. I love it so much!

It felt like Skid vs One was like the aftermath of One vs Skid. Idk if that makes sense but like when Skid said he needed parts, it would make sense if you tied it together with Hyun's animation. It also explains why they weren't using the board to fly around everywhere since it exploded in One vs Skid.
