This was awesome. Love it when stick fights have story and meaning. The next fight should be bog. Go up against someone who really doesn't have emotion. See what the path leads to... Or, of course, what ever you want. You're writer after all. Good stuff, can't wait to see more

That was darker than I was expecting! I'm glad you stuck to your concept though. You portrayed what people actually go through sometimes when faced with insurmountable stress and an urging to go on. They choke down their emotions and believe they've grown from doing so, but really they're ignoring an emotional wound that continues to fester just beneath the surface. Excellent job!
