I love how frazzled and nervous she looks, her eyes and ears constantly twitching this way and that, but she's still certain and strong in her movements. She's not afraid, she's cautious. I also like that turn around she does when she lowers to all fours, very smooth!

I cannot begin to explain how much emotion this conveys, the expression, the movements. I love how flowy the ears are and how the tail wags. The clicking of claws in the last scene was also amazing and such an important detail. The character design over all is absolutely stunning! I'd love to see more things like this in the future!

I want to upvote this more than once. I want Hyzenthlay to have all my upvotes. I love all of the characters (I derive a singular guilty pleasure from how much I love Lucy), but little Hyzy is the most intriguing. She doesn't know it, but she has a powerful future ahead of her. Ludwig called her "Eve", but I doubt even he understands what she is and how much potential rests inside her. She may yet prove to be the most significant Kivouackian development since Locket's Law. (At least, that's how I see her.)

The way their secondary animation moves is so beautiful and mesmerizing. It’s almost as if they are underwater! The way ears/tufts/hair waggle as kivs turns her head, the way their extra limbs, tails, tentacles trail and flow, etc... maybe it’s just the way you animate, maybe you do this intentionally with all your animations. It lends to the Kiv’s otherworldliness regardless!

When she walks on her hind legs the walk animation feels uncanny. I think it’s something to do with how the leg is going a little bit too high? It's pretty much socially acceptable except for certain situations, they feel liberating and studies have literally proven people who regularly use swearing tend to be more eloquent than the ones that do not, even if such a thing may not be noticeable at first glance. By this day "fucking" or "bloody" etc just have become words to further compare and increase an adjectives value anyway, so where exactly is the problem? If it is that it makes a language "less beautiful" well... I think you are in the wrong place anyway to find such a thing in the first place.

But I feel unsure with how she walks. ^^; Like I get her squirrel nature allows for her posture to change between quadrupedal and bipedal, but from the way you made her walk there, it looks like she would have an easier time in a more humanoid posture when she stands, maybe if she just stood taller and let her arms relax at her sides. Digitgrade or Plantigrade, when an animal stands on it's hind legs, they either still balance with the weight on the ball of the foot or flat on their heel.

I’m rewatching all of the Animation tests and I LOVE the subtle differences between Hyzenflay and the rest of the animation tests, she’s the only one to have coloured eyes when contrasting with the background, I tend to think it’s due to her not being all Kivouach, amazing detail as always Fennah!

I feel like Hyzenthlay went through a slight character change after Ludwig told her what she is and Lucy slashed her. Idk, but either way she's still great. The animation is beautiful and I love her new design!!🖤

Lil' Angel yea I feel like she will be getting more violent and more similar to the attitude of other characters. Almost like she feels unimportant knowing what she is and after what happened with Lucy, she’s gonna become more dangerous.

Lil' Angel right. I feel like she’s gonna let out her “evil side” and when she does she’s gonna make Lucy look weak. There’s always a character change like that. The sweet and kind one, something traumatic happens, and they snap.

Lucy is way too strong for Hyzenthlay to fight, but fighting won't be the only way to turn heads. I feel like she won't fight, but maybe be the cause of something. Who knows. For all we know she's plotting to side with Locket. I don't think she'll fight though. She's too weak for her own good, especially against a breed of combat specialist😂

Lil' Angel that’s true. I think more or less that she’ll make Lucy look more sane kinda, as she lacks the physical strength for fighting but she could easily get behind a higher power and make a challenge for the others.

As impressive as it is that you are able to move around the eyes and head well, I do think that all these animation tests do it a little too much to the point of it looking somewhat hard to look at. I would recommend "calming them down" a little for a more realistic approach. As well as their circling-around-on-all-fours, I think it's just a little overdone. Subtlety in the characters' movements is way more realistic and impressive if done right. Just some observations and tips from an Animation-majoring student to make your work even better :)

Weirdly, I think I like the animation of "Black Shuck" from a year ago better than some of his newer stuff, because the character movements seem so much more subtle and expressive without every single hair having to move in every shot. You're absolutely right about the more subtle movements being more natural and impressive, honestly. Also, I love your profile picture (and username lmao), did you draw/model it yourself?

Hell no boy this show is already crazy they have their own art style. The whole point of this is to be crazy nothing is correct in this animation nothing will ever be “correct” in this animation because the whole thing is crazy that’s what makes this show so amazing.

Just discovered this, and I wonder why I haven’t gotten these incredible videos in my recommendations til’ now. This was the first video I watched from your channel, and I first didn’t understand what was going on. But now after I’ve seen the Satellite City videos I just can’t stop thinking about this animation! This is so incredibly accurate to Hyzenthlay. You could just feel the cautiousness of her, like she was prepared of something to happen. She way she’s talking about “we” with that special expression gives away the vibe of her being uncertain of what’s she’s saying. For example “We don’t deal with outsiders very well”, like she really tries her hardest to fit in, in a way. The oh so numbed but still expressioned emotions in this video gave me chills! Like you could somehow relate so incredible much to her, as someone who’s also having problems with fitting in. You kind of just wanted to hug her, then and there, telling her it’d be alright. She deserves so much more love than what she gets from the other Kivouchians. She’s like a lost child, trying to find her parents. But her parents being her true purpose, and way to fit in. Beautiful animation, really. I’m more touched by this than I would’ve ever imagined. Love these, keep up the good work! ❤️
