I just brought the same welder, I haven't taken it out the box yet but can't wait to try mine. I brought the argon tank and the argon -Co2 mix tanks so I can try both mig steel and aluminum welding

Is there a way to shorten the MIG feed line. Because that is one of the problems, aluminum wire getting tangled... Also would you buy this again with what you know now??

Im thinking about it,its worth a shot for the price, but the specs on the site i visited read the following. MIG: 15-200A; MMA: 40-170A; TIG lifting: 30-250A ...surely thats wrong and it should be mig 20-250 amp?

I have been comparing the HZXVOGEN HVT-250P with the "Hit Box" HBT-250P. They are both made by the same company. However, the HZXVOGEN claims higher specs, like up to 1/4" aluminum. It seems like this is their upgraded line compared to the similar Hit Box model.

I bit the bullet and ordered one of these yesterday, I am really curious to see if it actually has pulse mode in mig. Now you have had that welder for a few months whats your opinion of it? Have you tried pulse or found how to set it up for pulse? Pulse on my tig is great, set at 1 second pulse rates it helps me dab my filler rod with even consistency, thought it would be good in a mig as well, saw a video with shielded flux core wire, also using mixed gas with pulse, the welds were a thing of beauty and looked like a strong tig welder had done them, not a wire feed. Anyway, if you have played enough with settings let me know if you have found the pulse function please. Alot of reviews say the manual is lacking so I am looking for any and all information on set up I can get. Thanks again for posting. One suggestion if you don't mind, when heating your aluminum tube, put it in an oven for 20 minutes to get a good even heat throughout the entire piece of material, it will hold temps longer and give you a more consistent weld. Just my 2 cents when using mig for aluminum, helps me get a better finished product.

I am on the fence with one of these, I only want it for mig, says it has pulse as well, does that work in mig? Or tig....I have an everlast tig so like I said I only need a new mig set up, in your honest opinion, do you 5hink its worth buying, I can get one for right at 230 bucks right now, my old mig 180 that I have had for 35 years finally quit, never tried an inverter machine until I bought my tig, that machine works re!lly well. I suppose I can send it back if I hate it, I tried to find out if I could buy a tweeco torch head for it but never got a reply, asked about consumables like tips as well and didn't get an answer, so i'm leary about buying one if the company can't or won't answer simple questions. Anyway, nice video, /hanks for posting, let me know if you think one is worth buying.

This brand is same as Hitbox. Both part of unitweld corporation or whatever it is. Any DC arc welder is capable of basic lift tig. So they sell the Tig torch separate and leave the cost out of the welder while it will still technically do it. Other brands of china welders put the torch with it and charge $50 more or whatever .. I just ordered the Hitbox MP2000 II for $138. I don’t plan on trying lift tig but for the $100 discount or so I got, I don’t care
