Miss this a lot! I've always loved New Orleans and still do to this day! Glad I experienced the culture and food there!

32:47 I went to Shreveport many times as a child. I remember the bridges on I-20 there had a similar density of bumps.

I-20 through Shreveport is rough, & I-220 isn’t really any better!

I lived in Metarie and Slidell La. back in the the 1970's. I liked Slidell and from what I've seen on line, it has grown a lot!

How do you capture that road ambience without all the wind noise? Thanks for the ride...

Crazy how far east the city limit stretches. Why does the city include so much non-developed marsh area?

Did you also film I-310, I-510 and Business US-90 in NOLA as well?
@MileageMikeTravels2 жыл бұрын
Not this time. This is the last New Orleans area video for now.

That skyline bigger than Dallas TX, San Antonio TX, Austin TX, I never been to New Orleans but you bet I wanna go! I'm from Houston Texas but I been to Louisiana a bunch of times, just not New Orleans which is sad especially If you take a trip to Florida driving I-10 going east lol.
@MileageMikeTravels2 жыл бұрын
Wow didn’t know New Orleans had a bigger skyline than Dallas.
@w-josh Жыл бұрын
it actually doesn’t take but 15 mins off the route to use I-10 the whole way instead of using I-12 to bypass the area, so that would be fun to try maybe next time you’re heading in that direction
