I may know and don't think anyone said this yet, but in Red Head Detention you can get 12/10 minikits. 12/10 doesn't register as 10/10 making you incapable of 100% and hardlocked. But you can stop it by exiting the level before you finish it.

I got 11/10 in that level and i think i locked myself out of the 100% But in the hub world on the bottom left hand side of the map out at sea and very high up i was missing a race as i had not fully made the map visible.

you might have already completed it 100%, but there could be multiple reasons as to why. 1. If you unlocked hulkbuster by a code, custom m will be locked resulting in a impossible 100% completion, BUT, if you complete the rebooted resuited level on story mode, you get the 100% trophy, though the game still doesn't register 100%. 2. The level "red head detention", for some reason, has 12 minikits. if you get 12, it doesn't register as 10/10, resulting in stopping you from getting 100%, though this can easily be fixed by leaving the level before you complete it if you get 10 minikits. 3. There's actually a race on top of the map not marked in the map, just search "Lego marvel superheroes missing race" or go to the top of the map 4. This is the one that happened to a lot of people, there's a glitch that for some reason doesn't one of the boats count if you buy them, just resets it. so go to your boat or car section, and see if you bought all of them. that's all I know that could do that, It can't be the DLC's as you need to buy them. hope I helped! btw, this happens in a lot of other Lego games, this happened to me at Lego Batman 3, my game was stuck at 99,9% but I'm not sure if that one has a fix

I think I might know what your problem is. If you've used the cheat code to unlock the hulkbuster, custom m will be locked, resulting in the game saying 99.9 percent. If you have, I have a solution to get the 100% trophy/achievement. Complete the rebooted resuited level in story mode. The 100% trophy will pop up. The game will still say 99.9% though. Hope this helps :) I'm blown away by how many likes this has! I didn't think so many people would see this comment!

I know it’s a little old but it might help I just finished 100% on the game November 2022 with 157 out of 150 mini kits and achieved 100% and all trophies was missing one of the boat unlocks. There is two boats that you need to unlock.

That happened to me, you just have to purchase all the vehicles from the spawner. But you have to go to 1 car spawner, 1 boat spawner and 1 plane/helicopter spawner.

In order to complete the full game on a 100% *1st you have to make sure to purchase every boat, car, motorcycle or helicopter in order to complete the game *2nd if for some reason you've got 12 or 11 miniskits instead of just 10, go back to that level don't get any minikits, save the game and get out of that level ... in my case I got 12 minikits in Juggernauts and Crosses and as you may know is just 10 ... so get to the story either as free play or story mode and get out right after you are being dropped into the story.

OH! I had exactly the same problem! Then, I discovered that, although I have unlocked it previously, I forgot to buy with studs the Mandarin's speedboat. Its really easy to forget about it because, unlike the other vehicles, boats are almost not used. Why using a boat when a lot of characters and vehicles can fly? Also, once unlocked, the boat can only be purchased in the SHIELD platforms in the docks of Liberty Island, Ryker's, or the ones directly on the water...

If someone struggles here are some tips that maybe could help: Buy every vechile, every character and if you used a cheat code for hulk buster and the procentage is stuck on 99.9, then go into the level where iron man suits up with captain america IN story mode. After you completed that level you should get the last achievement, but in-game it will still say 99.9% I hope it works for you! 🍀

There's a bonus level on Liberty Island I dunno whether or not you've done it, that might be the issue if you haven't tho The access point to get into the level is inside the base of the Statue Of Liberty

I got everything in this game. All characters, boats, cars, Stan lees, all red bricks, all kits, all levels 100 percent. I did the go into a level and save and return to New York. The last 2 achievements popped up on the screen...... but it's still not showing up on the trophy list.... I am sooo pissed.

Hulkbuster is not the problem but you have to buy every vehicle and there are just 2 Terminals in the whole game where you can also biy boats so when you buy the last boat youll have it

Happened exact the same with me in 2019. What I did is to replay the mission red head detention collecting all the minikits again. When I finished the mission, the 100% trophy poped out. Very glitchy game

Try getting the DLC like some others have said. Maybe it doesn't work, but at the very least you have some characters not in the game like Thanos and Dark Phoenix

Happened to me that i was missing one gold brick at marvel hq, behind a closed door that was unreachable, you had to destroy some golden/silver statues in the area and finally destroy the one behind the door, i had to do the hydra tank glitch to get under the map and finally get that one brick.

As others have said in the comments, there is a time trial that is not marked on the map. It's at the top of the map. If that isn't the issue check your vehicles, apparently there is a glitch where one vehicle doesn't get registered if you buy it. If you used a cheat code for hulkbuster cutom M will be locked resulting in the game permanently staying at 99.9%. I hope at least 2 of these are part of the reason you're stuck at 98

Alright 2022 crew, this has been the worst Platinum I've ever had. 2021 I finished the game and got the 12/10 Mini Kit glitch, lol. Sold the game, and knew I'd eventually come back to it. Here's my run down of 40+ straight hours of making sure I received the 100% without hassle. 1. Finish all missions, complete everything. Characters, boats, cars, planes etc. 2. Slowly chip away at Deadpool bricks. 100% 3. Clean up the city, before any 100% missions. 4. (Crucial) Before you attempt all missions 100% percent. Back your save files up, online or USB. I kept refreshing my save to the USB. 5. Once you've got all Gold Bricks, Deadpool Bricks, Stanley and Mini kits. 6. Locate the Travel To Area in the 'Financial District' (On the building) to unlock all planes and crafts, this is what I was missing on my new save file. 7. Lastly, access the other Travel To Area in 'Financial District' near the water for the boats. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer. Unfortunately, if you have the 12/10 Mini Kit glitch you' have to restart your game with a new file or reload the level without the glitch. I hope this helps someone. P.S Lego Games stink lmao.
