I got the "bring your child to work day" achievement on my first victory personally. I was lucky enough to get a shiny Meowth as a wild encounter, and with pickup it was incredibly valuable for the run. The lad is still in my runs to this day.

As a tip, as callum mentioned venusaur is a FANTASTIC pokemon for runs. Leech seed is incredibly overpowered, imo toxic is really good too, and of course i reccomend mega evolving it too. I'd also reccomend swampert since its bulky and hits like a truck, especially when its mega.
