For those commenting that the collectibles counter was 88/89, that is actually a visual glitch! I do have all 89; it might have been patched by now, but from my understanding there is a collectible in Hogwarts that would count for the achievement counter (get all collectibles) but not for the in-game counters. A tip I read on the 100 hit combo is to find inferi and just keep hitting basic casts. You won't have to worry about them taking damage until you cast a fire based spell

Technically you didn't need to make a new character for each house as I was able to get the other three with a second one. You just have to make a manual save right when you wake up in the dorm and without moving anywhere to trigger another auto save. The oldest auto save should be for the Forbidden Forest which then let's you go through the whole sorting hat ceremony again. Repeat this one more time and you've successfully saved off about 30 minutes for the other two house achievement runs.

The problem I had when getting the platinum was the collectibles not showing on the map because I had to discover one VERY precise area that wasn’t even greyed out so unless I wanted to spend hours just aimlessly searching the map for Merlin trials and figuring I didn’t have enough mallowsweet I…… looked up a collectible map. I did what had to be done.

Achievements aside, you do not need to play as each House. Only the jackdaw mission is different and "getting to visit azkaban" is just a cutscene. One time. Not that cool or important.

I’m starting over lol I finished the game but didn’t get everything. So now I’m focusing on the little things and doing the Merlin trails so I have more room for things. I’ll still do the main quest but I think getting the small things as you go is very important.

There should not be any missable stuff in the game so in theory you can just blast through the main story and do everything else after. I did everything possible between each main mission out of fear for missing stuff, but even then I missed some stuff. I did get my platinum trophy on my first character regardless of missing a few things initially which leads me to believe that nothing is missable in the game.

Good job mate! Going for all achievements is a pain in the ass with the visual glitches and the map chamber achievements. Great video, though. There are also quite a few visual glitches that might make you run around in circles, some of what I've encounter with the latest patch: 1. Hogwarts map can show field guides missing; 2. Hogwarts map can show collectible chest missing in depulso puzzle room 1, if you open it nothing is awarded; 3. Playstation exclusive quest "Minding Your Own Business" awards two new enemies and a set of clothing collectibles which are later removed from collectibles tab; 4. Forbidden Forest Arena might have to be completed twice to award the Duellist's Mask

What Im doing is a liiiiittle different. Im doing all of my exploring before the 2nd Map Chamber trial. You are able to get every spell minus transfig and bombarda within the first half of the game, which is enough to get you by with all the explorable areas and collectibles. I managed to do all the merlin trials, balloons, landing pads, floo powder, demiguises, field guide pages in the highlands, and Ive leveled up to 36.

I'm on the same boat. I have completed everything, found everything, finished all challenges and collections, the game is literally 100% done. And I'm still lvl 39 with the bar visually full. There is nothing to do about this I'm afraid, aside from waiting for a fix, a dlc to come out, or using a trainer. You could also try loading a save, where you still have some challenges left to complete, and leave them for last, after you complete the game.

So apparently I just have to switch gears to my other characters that I made to get to lvl 40 to get the platinum. If this bug still appears if I get to lvl 40, then I don't know then.

I went through this struggle in my first playthrough. Got everything. Replayed to get to the map chamber with the other characters. Only to realize that depiste beating the best time on the broom races, It never gave me the freaking trophy/Achivement. So I had to spend an additional 11 hours to try to get through the story with my new character until I finally got to the final race and FINALLY got that damn trophy. Fml. 125 and despite the pain. It was a fun experience 7.5/10

Also is broomstick the only form of transportation or can you use animals too. Last question are Patronus incorporated? If so how is your representative animal selected? (if this is mentioned in the video I’m unaware as I didn’t have time to finish it all today but I will be returning to watch it all I’d just like to know before hand)

If you notice there is no trophy/achievement for unlocking curses. They don’t count as spells ofcourse. But that’s a nice touch from the developers.

I'm completely new to Hogwarts Legacy game my most favorite house is Slytherin Many Legends studied there even Merlin studied there! But also read on Google are there achievements to complete this game on all Four Houses it said Yes. Makes sense I bet it's because Hogwarts Houses War Tournament that's what we like to call it. In that Houses War Tournament they tend to get the Year's own season tournament we seen the Houses War Tournament in Harry Potter 1 the Philosopher's stone Slytherin almost won but with the help of Ron Hermione Harry own personal defeating Voldemort got the Sorcerer Stone Destroyed they won House Season Trophy for Gryffindor so like that first movie whichever house the gamers own protagonists are in will Win the House War Tournament Cup Trophy also Harry Potter 2 Chamber of Secrets Harry even got the Basilisk Killed then got the first Horcrux Destroyed got the hivemind controlled Teenage Voldemort Clone Destroyed. So first gonna play Hufflepuff 🟡started playing Hogwarts Legacy for the very first time in November 17 2024 then will play Ravenclaw 🔵will play Gryffindor 🔴 NUMBER 1 STRONGEST then play Slytherin 🟢 NUMBER 1 MOST POWERFUL FOR LAST WINNING THE HOUSES WAR TOURNAMENT TROPHY.🏆 Read about the the plot on Wikipedia there are 2 choices for the main character to decide what to do with the ancient Sorcery either to keep the Ancient Sorcery hidden for anyone with Heroism in them to use that power on any occasions or absorb the power for themselves RIGHT THERE RIGHT NOW. Already know which is the Good Superhero Ending.

I still need like 9 or 10 collectibles, I just don’t have it in me to go play anymore, since I played for 75 ish hours straight on release and grinded far to much early on after release.
