I'm between Alcoa and Louisville, and I must say that the view is like a oil painting constantly, rainy or sunny
@MileageMikeTravels3 жыл бұрын
True. On some of my videos in the area it goes from rain and sunshine within less than an hour.

Pellissipi parkway has horrible bridge transitions. Blowing out my shocks. They attempted to fix some of them but watch out, they are bad
@w-josh2 жыл бұрын
I think Tennessee overall has horrible bridge transitions which I think are caused either by bridge joints or unevenly level pavements. You could see the cars bouncing when getting on and off of the bridges that's how bad it is.

That isn't Alcoa when you first criss the bridge into Blount county. It is Louisville. That also wasn't all the way into Maryville, it was Rockford where you ended the video. You briefly skimmed Alcoa.
@conanthebarbarian19713 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's true.
@MileageMikeTravels3 жыл бұрын
Google maps shows the highway being within Alcoa's boundaries and never actually entering Rockford. They could be wrong, however that's where I typically pull the information from unless there's some signage on the roadway to indicate otherwise.

@@MileageMikeTravels 140 when you first come over the bridge is Louisville until you cross under 129. After that the area rides the line of Alcoa and Rockford. If you headed to the right where you got off at the end, you'd be in Alcoa, but still pretty far from the main part of Alcoa. If you had gotten off a couple of exits earlier and headed south on 129 (Alcoa Hwy) you'd also be in Alcoa. Alcoa itself doesn't really have a down town, like with old buildings and such. It has a large retail and business section to the south that is right next to Maryville's retail section and Maryville's downtown. When shopping and driving in that area the two towns are indistinguishable for all intent and purposes. The roads weave in and out of blurred town lines. You were about 3-4 miles from that area.
