I used to go this way quite a bit going to two places-- one, with my father for Walmart going to Clyde, NC; and two, with my family going to Indiana.

I left Asheville @ 4:15 am this morning to go back to Florida. I was scared to death because I could not see the road. It was so dark, I actually got off an exit by accident because I couldn't follow the lines. YES, I can see perfectly fine at night. Thank God, the woman in my hotel warned me so I knew to go slow. At one point I was only able to drive 45mp it was so bad. NO LIGHTING AT ALL!

If only! I did laugh when I saw all of that. That and the stopped traffic. The most accurate portrayal of that section of road.

The construction will end between 2024 and 2025

This road is trash. North Carolina's interstate system is a mess and a numbering disaster as well.
