The cursed relic doesn't give a random charm, it gives a weakened combination of the coffee, smoke dash, heart ring, and whetstone charms that gets stronger as you beat bosses with it

well if you kill 7 or 8 bosses with the cursed relic, it upgrades the cursed relic to the divine relic, which is a useful charm granting you max heath and you'll get the effects of smoke bomb, coffee, whetstone (which is like parrying but you can kill run an gum enemies) and heart ring all in one charm slot and you can access to all weapons randomly from dodging, EX uses or when you stop fighting. P.s I had to search this up on mobile google on what does the divine relic do in cuphead

I’ll say this with no hesitation, i tried to platinum trophy this game when i bought it on the Playstation Store. And i gotta say that this is, without a doubt, one of the hardest games to platinum trophy i’ve ever played, especially when i had to beat every boss on the expert mode. If you have zero patience or anger issues, i DO NOT recommend you to platinum trophy this. But other than that, this is one of the best indie games i’ve played in my life.

what the game considers "taking a hit" is having less then 3 hearts even if you start with more so that's how you can get achievements for not taking a hit while having taken a hit

in the third phase of the genie you can just be at the top of the screen with the bomb, the boomerang is just better then the normal blaster, in the first run and gun of the second island the duck box thing you can just duck under it, also at the pirate the best strat is use the boomerang and lock to shoot at an angle + constant parrying of his shots 90% of them are pink so you can just constaly use a super

For the gravestone puzzle, you have to ask the first placer. The second placer and the third placer And they will give you a hand and tell you where you need to put them. It's different every time it isn't the same so ppl need to actually put effort in

I remember doing a root pack strat where I equipped roundabout, chaser, and…parry sugar (ok at the time I wasn’t that good at parrying) all I did was doge the dirt, parry at least three worms, and switch to chaser when met with the carrot, I won A+ easy peasy, and I probably could do S rank with the same strat

I feel like grim matchstick is obscenely hard or easy for people. The phase 1 isnt too bad but phase 2 and 3 feel very wonky and the fireballs can be unpredictable with their trajectory, and phase 3's splitting projectiles were SO annoying. Plus, rng clouds make it harder, too. If you're very used to it, he's pretty easy, but if you're not used to it 100% then he's definitely a challenge for players.

It's because a lot of people don't pay attention to the patterns or listen for sound cues. They think it's just straight madness that can't be figured out when it's actually easy if you pay attention and use the right weapons

To anyone who wants to attempt this for yourself, I have two tips for the pacifist achievement: first, during forest follies, you can get past the acorn maker by parrying on a pink butterfly that sometimes appears. For Carnival Kerfuffle: to get past the duck shooting machine, you can just duck and dash underneath him, his hit box doesn’t touch the ground

Dude you can get the DLC as an advantage in order to get achievements much faster, I tried that method before a couple of times. In order to get this method get to the DLC island so you can beat all the bosses and get free access to expert difficulty and surprisingly you get the achievement of defeating the Devil on expert but it also still counts that you beat the game on normal 😮

so i did this two with my brother, it took multiple months and it was really difficult. but it was really fun also is it just me or where the dlc bosses better than the original. also he could have killed one of the mini flying bosses in the king dice boss. thats how we did it

For anyone trying to S rank phantom or just beat it I would recommend using converge for the first phase if you aim the shots it one shots the eyes. Then the hardest phase becomes the easiest

Personally Andrew I agree with you for Grim Matchstick isn't that hard all I agree with that it's hard as the Hydra phase because I always end up hitting the Fireballs with the lobby shot though I usually pick Robert crack shot the usually live around about so I can get rid of the Fireballs quickly so that or don't respond so that the crack shot doesn't hold in on them

The most ultimate challenge is S ranking, pacifist run and guns, no deaths, no taking damage, no other shots than peashooter, no charms and no supers, and everytime you die you restart. Only a king among kings can do that lol. Tho it might cause alot if stress, I wouldn’t recommend it
