I love Asheville. I travel from Conway SC to Chicago once a month and this stretch of road is one of my favorites. Also love the song lol more modern than what I'm used to seeing on this channel.

Glad you enjoyed, picking music for these projects is a multifaceted task; first the music must compliment the scenery, then the music copyright protocols must be researched, and if using more than one song in a video I try to use the same record label again back to copyright issues. I do try to vary music genres to keep things interesting...thanks for watching

socarboy That sounds like a lot to go through, but hey for us viewers it's worth it 👍🏽. I love traveling the country but with your videos it's nice to see roads I haven't traveled. Keep up the good work and hope your channel expands as it should.

I remember how terrible the drought was in fall across the south east us and living just outside the mountains in western nc we didn’t get any rain for a month it was a pretty crazy fall season back then. Great video and great country songs! I really enjoy it! :)

Nice drive Scott. Such a shame what those fires are doing down there.

TheSolarcatcher Yes sir; quite horrible. I hope and pray that those responsible for deliberately setting those fires are buried underneath the jail.Hoping they rot in prison!!!!

wow that's a lot of smoke there! Is this normally the dry season down there?
@socarboy8 жыл бұрын
No it's been extraordinarily dry in the Southeast USA this fall. But this week the region has seen some rain.

The snowfall here was late, but it's finally come as of about 2 weeks ago.

Trans Canada Phil they haven't talked much about that wildfire up there, have they? Because it's gotten pretty bad over there.

Gatlinburg TN, a mountain tourist town, has been devastated by this thus far.

Might not touch the radio, but if I actually hear elevator mus-- {AHEM!!!} country music while I'm driving, I'm plugging in the auxiliary cord lol!

Schwenda I actually employed the help of Freewayjim on this video concerning theme and music genre. I had been stumped on music selections for this and I was greatful for his input. Thanks for watching.

I actually enjoyed this ride nonetheless. From the fall colors to the Appalachian beauty (despite clear evidence that a decent amount has recently been destroyed for the time being)!

But please don't, for even a second, think that I'm bashing ANY of your (or ANY of our) vids over music choices (as well as other things) if that's what you're thinking. I was just making a simple statement that I usually don't care much for country music as much as most people do, but at the same time think it's great that a couple people actually use it in their vids; really fits in perfectly with most rural highway rides without a hitch!
@socarboy8 жыл бұрын
No offense taken I've used country before and Jim knew that and suggested the genre for this video. Every road has it's own personality and since you're doing these these as well you look for a certain "feel" from the music to compliment the video. This should help you here in researching music (the copyright protocols) for your projects kzbin.info_policies

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by these horrible,devastating wildfires,which were deliberataly set. I hope they put those responsible underneath the jail.
