I actually LOVE this new BMX game! (BMX Streets). We've come a long way since our last BMX Streets video. I learned how to actually play the game lol. It reminds me a LOT of the feeling I got when I first started playing Session. It's incredibly difficult and frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is a TON of fun.

Yo! Garrett! Just to clear this up, if your right foot forward and you do an ice on the right, thats just an ice. If you do it on the left thats a switch ice. Same goes for all the other grinds, spins and tricks minus a few. For example a switch turndown is called a lookback. Hope this helps its given me immense joy seeing someone experience this game for the first time... Been playing builds older than pipe since 2017! Stoaked!!

The replay editor is missing pretty much every feature or convenience you could possibly want in a replay editor. Besides like key frames I guess so hopefully he fixes that. just to be clear. There’s no fish eye toggle, there’s no tripod camera, there is no follow camera that rotates or is movable. Amongst other things.

It's the best feature, all you need is keyframes, there's fov, dof and fisheye. You just gotta be good at filming.

Wakeboarding is my main sport, and the trick names in that are ridiculous. Tootsie Roll, Dum Dum, Slim Chance, Whirlybird, Raley, Scarecrow, Tantrum, Pete Rose, Blind Pete...all of those are legit trick names. And that's just to name a few. And it's not like they're obscure tricks, they're all super common.

I just want to mention even though this game is $40 the creator really created the first good bmx game, its something a lot of us wanted but we just settled for skate. One overlooked thing about game creation is creating a map, all the little spots that just work together could you imagine having to build, test, build test, no wonder it took him years, and thats just map creation not to mention having a playable bmx system. :)

There are 17 maps so far. Some Skater xl maps used to work but stopped after an update. And the man working on this is a good dude. He has been updating this game like crazy and it working on adding x-ups!

First one is a "bar" or barspin to Icepick or "ice" to "whip" or tailwhip (so bar ice to whip or barspin icepick to tailwhip). There is also regular and switch(sometimes called oppo), so its like a regular ice or switch or oppo ice.

Super sick game! One thing on my mind regarding Session and this game, is the fact that all of these new game devs refuse to put animations getting on/off the board, or now, bike. There must be a really good reason for it. But for some reason, it feels like an important element to realizing these games to their fullest that just gets lost and forgotten. It's not really that important, but would be nice to see.

You can also pump and steer by turning the left stick either left or right, then moving it up or down while holding in a direction. I'm personally still not a fan of it as it still requires you to hold the right stick down, and that sometimes puts me into a manual.

one developer, i think 40 is a lil steep but atleast hes actively updating the game and you know you can kind of count on him to keep listening to everyone just the past few days he added a ton of options that weren't there on launch like turning off automatic transition spin etc etc i skate as well and loved the skate games i don't really bmx but i enjoy watching it and playing this game the first time i was locked in for hours the missions do not hold your hand at all even from the start it has like one of the hardest missions over on the side that i spent like 5 hours on lol. If you want a good bike game i say grab this or try out his other game pipe for 10 bucks but just know i hear it is a difference from bmx streets in some aspects but its def more developed

It’s actually funny hearing you call everything skate tricks 😂 But your feet are like skating kind of right foot forward and left foot forward. You’re riding right foot forward so your “ice right” would just be an “ice” if you were to ice with the left peg we would call it a “switch ice”. And the turns in the dirt jumps are called “berms” Lol stoked to see non-riders enjoying this game!

I dont go back to my old marker, but in gran turismo 7 the selector will accidently get bumped to restart, and ill pick it up and accidently select, but it wont ask you to confirm, it just assumes you meant to select it and youre f*cked. The absolute worst when doing an endurance race and suddenly need to pee and youre 25 minutes into a 30+ minute race. Or youre that far in and its a campaign single player race and the internet glitches for 1 second but because you disconnect for 1 second it kicks you out of the race.

It's similar but different at the same time. This game is physics based so there is a little learning curve coming from PIPE but overall if you've played a ton of PIPE it should be easy to get used to after an hour.
