usually when 2k crashes on "advance season" its because one of the cpu controlled teams is accepting too many overseas contracts. To fix you have to user control each team and make sure that no team is trying to hold on to more than two overseas contracts. aka you have to renounce any excess overseas contracts. It took me HOURS to figure this out on 2k20 so this issue has been in the game for at least 5 releases.

I was also playing MyNBA in 2k24, and one of my files couldn’t get past the “advance to next season” stage either. It’s some dumb glitch or crash in the game that’s also been happening in past 2k’s, but seems to be occurring more in 2k24. It sucks that 2k does not care about its product, but I guess that’s what happens when you have no competition; you get complacent 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kenny I’ve had this issue as well. I played from all the way back at 1984, as far back as 2k would let me, made my own expansion team, made trades for players I wanted to draft, etc. all the way to this exact spot as well. I had made my franchise reputable. I wanted to play through Anthony Edwards career on my franchise and see all the awards and stuff my franchise accomplished. I got to this point and couldn’t progress. I put over 3 months worth of time into this file to just be forced to give up like this.

Sabonis Fox have a top 5 pick n roll combo in the whole league both are just entering their peaks. The offense is really good they just need to lock in on defense and bring in some defenders. They have a championship window asking as Fox Sabonis on that team bringing on DeMar gives them a huge edge.

So Kenny skipped past it but the OKC winning vs the Bulls, SGA might have had the best finals stats I have ever seen. He averaged 41 PPG, 11 APG, and 9 RPG with 2 and 2 STL and BLK on 60FG%, 50%3P%, and 95% from the FT. That is INSANE
