The orchestral music to go from the final wonder to Cultural Victory was a nice detail. The idea of a major world stadium being next to the Colosseum has to be one of the more interesting placements in this game

I had searched to see if people had done this challenge prior to your first release, but I couldn't find any on deity. I have a lot of experience with the big sad, and I'm really glad you took the time away to recuperate and stay with us. Please don't be afraid to do this sort of thing in the future, your wellbeing and life will always be much more valuable than what you can produce. You're an inspiration to us all.

So, sorry about The Big Sad, but glad to hear you're feeling better! And kudos on a relatable and funny explanation. I know talking about it is often hard (especially on the internet) but I think you nailed it. We like your videos and don't mind waiting, so hang in there, bud.

Most likely nobody really cares, but since it is the only Hungarian wonder here's a little history lesson on the "Országház" (it mirror translates to statehouse, but it should be obviously interpreted as "Parliament") it's built in neo-gothic style. Constructed on a very wet base the engineers had to construct an enormous concrete basin for it to sit in. Originally the facade was constructed with a malleable limestone which deteriorated by the early 2000s, they spent most of the mollenias first decade switching it to fresh and more resiliant limestone.

Thats cool to know. Those older buildings from different time periods are always unique to see. If i was multi trilioner i would pay to rebuild or build from scratch some buildings from old world periods. It would be tourist attraction, with authentic style.

Dude, I feel you. Every winter I go through depression. It just feels like I’m sleep walking through my life, I have no energy, no drive, and no discipline. Then spring rolls around and I completely change. It’s really hard dealing with depression. I hope you’re doing better. Your videos make me laugh and I appreciate you for that.

Outstanding play! I was inspired to give this a go, though just on prince difficulty. Succeeded in 215 turns (I won the cultural victory quite a bit earlier) - could have done it faster, but I stopped min-maxxing and being as efficient as I could be when I was confident the AI wasn't going to catch up. The early game is hard! I made some silly mistakes that nearly cost me. For example I forgot Jebel Berkal needed to built on desert hills - I didn't have any. I found the one desert hills tile vaguely accessible (which was in England's territory, so I had to conquer her city), then stupidly put an envoy into a neighbouring city state so its borders expanded to to the desert hills, so I'm ashamed to say I did save scum there! I had no lakes anywhere nearby, so ended up having to do a risky settle in the middle of Greek territory (I eventually got a cultural alliance with them) just to annex the one lake tile I could find for Huey (fortunately, no one else had any lakes either, so no one was competing). I had a good map, but still had some limitations that made this harder. I decided to play the map when I saw my capital had stone and floodplains in it, but I think had I been on a higher difficulty I'd have lost because accessing the ocean was extremely difficult and I was slow to settle there. Had I been more organised, I'd have promoted Moksha with divine architect much earlier because I had so much faith and I reached a bit of a production bottleneck getting the prerequisite districts down in newly settled cities before I could start on the wonders. Five turns to move Magnus feels like forever in this challenge - I often had all my builders prepped and ready to chop out the wonder and it was agonising waiting. Otherwise, an enjoyable challenge (and it is a challenge even on prince difficulty - I was fairly confident of winning by the mid-medieval era, but up to that point I was often racing the AI, especially on those early naval wonders that I never build usually). Makes you realise just how many wonders are in the game. Keen to try this again on a higher difficulty and aim for sub-200.

Since you already have mods like quick deals, I suggest World Wonder Reminders Enhanced. Will let you see all the wonders at once and who is building them, and estimated time to completion, and even will tell you like "unmet player" for the ones you haven't met. And if you've actually got vision of the construction site, you can even go right to it What other mods are you using, btw? I saw a button to the right of quick deals that i don't have in my game

Oh that mod is Sukritact's Tourism Overview Screen! It just gives a little better breakdown of where your tourism is coming from and how many tourists per turn you're getting from each civ~

You could always choose Tic Tac Toe, assuming you get to go first. Whichever player goes first in Tic Tac Toe can only stalemate or win the game, they can never lose unless they make an obviously wrong move.

I am glad you're talking about your issues. And i know what is behind laughter, jokes and brief "i call ot big sad". Or, at least, im not far from knowing. For me it is consuming void (when it really hungry i physically feel it somewhere between heart and neck), draining wish to live and any good feelings. This shit is real, really can hurt you and really is illness, which somehow still unbelievable for many people. Im my country even for actual doctors. I hope you will eventually win yourself, but it really may take time. I keep fighting for 3 years and i think i will need not much than a couple more. Hopefully. Dont be mad on yourself if you sometimes think that you should be okay already. And again - i hope you will be alright. I believe you strong enough to not surrender when weak and keep fighting ehen strong - and eventually you will stop void from coming back.

I’ve dealt with very similar mental heath situations. I really hope you are able to attain whatever you need to help you through your endeavor… for me it feels like climbing a mountain, then realizing there is only another mountain to climb. I personally have sought professional help and it really does help! If it doesn’t at first just keep trying. If you can try to get different help. It’s not a permanent fix but can at least help you understand your own brain more, that way in your darkest thought you may find a voice that leads your way out of it.

The original challenge inspired me to try my self with all my mods that add additional wonders, wonders are empire wide, and civ blitz. Haven't won yet but I hope too. I thought about a rule to build them all but any missed you have to capture the city after building them all but culture victory locked.

Liang, China and Pyramids is 6 builder charges = 90% of wonders production, so if you spend 5 turns to produce 1 builder is 5 turns for each wonder (because of policy card), so powerful kkk

If you do a huge earth map there’s 10,240 tiles. That means one tile is 19,000 mi.². The entire island of Ireland would be less than two tiles.. All of Germany would be 6 to 7 tiles Texas would be somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 to 14 tiles

Do what you need to do to stay sane. It takes a lot of bravery to talk about mental health issues but I'm very happy that it's being more normalized.
