As a winner of the Blazin' challenge, I think I got off easy because those wings weren't brutally hot like lots of others are saying. I knew it was gonna be painful, so I put my head down and chomped on those wings, not caring about heat or taste at all. I was flying as fast as possible, and it wasn't until the 11th wing that the heat REALLY started to affect me. I had to push through those last two, but I finished with a minute to spare. The next day was a gastrointestinal nightmare. I got a shirt!

I completed this challenge today and honestly, the hardest part was the fact that the wings were served uncomfortably hot temperature wise, and the time pressure. It seems like plenty of time but I was booking it through each wing to keep pace and finished with only 8 seconds to spare. The real pain of the sauce settled in after, when I was just sitting there with my whole mouth/throat/lips coated in it, and basically just had to wait ~15 minutes for it to fade. The ice cream helped a lot at that point!

My fiancé eats these wings every time we go there. The issue isn’t so much the spice as it is the fact that they’re physically hotter than the sun. Trainer at BWW here, I can tell you there’s a lot of truth to this, aside from us not using the microwave. The second those wings come out of the fryer, the server watches it get tossed in the sauce, and they’ll immediately run it out to the table.
