This song was written by Ewan MacColl in 1957 for Peggy Seeger and he performed it at every event when touring the UK. The song was recorded and performed by many Artists but it only made it big when Roberta Flack recorded it in 1972. Roberta Flack won a Grammy for this song as well as for the record of the year. The song also was number one on the HOT 100 single of the year chart. Angelina Jordan can sing any song and does it more than justice. Thank you for another great reaction video.

There's a short video of her practicing and she keeps checking her phone, put in back pocket.. back and forth. Uncle walks over, takes her phone from pocket and walks away. She reaches for it, it's not there, she makes some funny faces and tries to get from her uncle, but the cord to microphone doesnt reach.. Video ends with Angelina reaching for phone and looking at Grandma for help..

Angelina Jordan does a beautiful version of this song. As much as I love her, it just doesn't quite rise to Roberta Flack's version (but comes closer than anyone has). You really should hear Roberta's version though, the studio version is the better one, but the 1972 live version gives you the joy of watching her performance which is absolutely stunning.
