Angelina Jordan, a child prodigy that started singing at 1-1/2 years old. Won Norway's Got Talent at age 7/8. Has performed barefoot live since age 6 after an encounter with a barefoot girl at about the same age. Angelina and her mother and Grandmother were traveling in the Middle East when Angelina saw a poor barefoot girl weighing people in the streets for money. It was cold and the girl's feet were scarred. Angelina felt compelled to talk to the girl. Angelina ended up giving the girl the shoes off her feet. And to this day Angelina performs barefoot to remind her of all the less fortunate children in the world. Angelina wrote and published a book about the encounter when Angelina was 9. Youngest published author in Norway. Angelina speaks multiple languages and plays multiple instruments. Angelina has helped raise millions for charities. She has over 170 covers and 5 originals. She signed with Republic Records in 2020. She is now 16 and her birthday is Jan 10, 2006. She has a very protective family and loves them dearly. Angelina refers to her fans as "Angels".

The Guitarist is Egil Clausen; a Norwegian musician & Bandleader and friend of Angelina, he accompanies Angelina on several of these practice tapes. After AJ moved to L.A. Ivan Mendez took up the duties of supporting AJ in these Tapes. It's worth noting that in most cases these are Raw, unproduced recordings and First, or at most Second "Takes". You Will often see Angelina reading the lyrics as she sings, because she was just learning the song!

Her first video was at age 6, singing "I Who Have Nothing", by Ben E. King. She auditioned for Norway's Got Talent at 7, and went on to win it shortly after turning 8. She turned 16 this past January, and more lives in LA. She has 5 originals, and has performed over 180 covers. I recommend going back to her Norway's Got Talent performances. Be sure to select the English subtitles version for her audition with "Gloomy Sunday", from Billie Holiday.

If you really want to pursue an Angelina set of performances...the best list of her work from the beginning to now is on the Rusty Shackleford channel....alphabetical, chronological listings. There are songs that do not appear on her two official channels (which should be in your show more description to be fair to the artist) . He is one of her most knowledgeable supporters so well worth a visit to his channel...

The reason AJ is so good at performing live on stage is that she has been giving concerts for almost 10 years. Trivia: she skipped the 6th grade and went from 5th to 7th grade, and she will graduate high school at age 17 next year.

@@Joethemaster AFAIK, the earliest upload of her to YT (a *very* brief appearance in which she doesn't make a sound) was made on 2012-04-21 to the mery zamani channel, in a video called "Art of Mery Zamani": kzbin.info/www/bejne/n2qxqYtmqbidiZI (that's her in the doorway 23 seconds into the video - if it was recorded shortly before it was posted, she would have been 6). A handful of videos of her singing were posted to the sara slatmann and Hanne Tinderholt channels between 2013-05-13 and 2013-07-04 (at the time they were posted, she was already 7 - again, it is not really possible to know how long after they were recorded they were posted, but I lean strongly toward the idea that she was actually 7 when they were recorded). The _earliest-recorded_ footage of her that we've seen (i.e., the footage of her at the youngest age) is a short clip of her singing Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" when she was 1½. This was reportedly the first time she had ever been caught on camera singing. It was aired on TV during her run on _Norske Talenter_ [Norway's Got Talent, or NGT for short] and can be seen in this English-subtitled upload (for example): kzbin.info/www/bejne/anazoomsoc54bas (turn on English captions to understand what is being said - the clip of her singing at 1½ starts 1 minute 52 seconds into the video). By the time you've finished those she's prolly put out another few...LOL But rest assured that there are no bad performances by her whatsoever. They will all pretty much leave you speechless. She is THAT good. The future G.O.A.T. She is THAT good. Maybe see how it all began? At least to the public ? As you probably know already, she won Norway's Got Talent in 2014, at age 8. The auditions started when she was 7, but she had turned 8 by the time of the final, which she won by a whopping 46% of the total votes, effectively leaving 54% to share for the other 9 finalists.
