Oh god, I got so anxious when you went by the Wattrel the first time! I sighed with relief when you turned back for a second round and saw it. And then history repeated itself when shiny Kilowattrel showed up but you only recognized it when it turned around. So psyched that you saw both of them in the end! Also appreciated the birb facts you threw into this video, makes me wanna look them up!

I know this video is super old, and my comment might get buried; but I'm really glad I discovered you. Not only are you super chill, but I was hunting Kilowattrel myself and was struggling to recognize it. Watched your video for help, and while watching I caught my own shiny not five minutes later :D

Had a lecture on sexual selection and the prof brought up frigate birds as an example. Immediately thought of Kilowattrel. It's very cool, congrats on the shiny!

Nice! Basically birds whole deal comes down to sexual selection - in fact, vaned feathers evolved primarily for display before they were ever used for flight!

I almost missed a shiny watrel I was traveling to a 6 star raid since I was low on herba the first thing I saw in the air was a slightly different watrel and I battled it was shiny I think this was the last shiny before I got the charm

I really hope we get new wild encounters (completely new, or other old pokemon that are currently not in the game) with the dlc like they did in sword and shield. I dont want to shiny hunt with masuda method all the shinys that can be imported from home and I dont have yet

There should have been a Megawattrel and it should have had a mega evolution!
