I Almost Skipped The Best Palette of 2020!? | Finally Trying Adept Plain Jane

Hi makeup lovers! Today we’re finally testing the Adept Cosmetics Plain Jane Palette. I was told this was the best palette of 2020 so let’s give it a go✨
Wear test: I wore this look for about seven hours and both sides wore amazing. I saw no difference on the glitter glue side. There was no fading and no creasing. It looked like the shadows got even more sparkly over time. There was a little bit of sparkles transferring about my crease as I have hooded lids but it didn’t look bad. I was very impressed/sad to wash the look off at the end of the day.

I feel like these look WAY prettier actually on the eyes rather than swatched. I honestly wasn’t that impressed with the swatches (like the color shifts) but it’s way more visible on the eyes. Now I want this 😂

I'm not a huge palette person, and if I buy one I prefer it to be a mix of textures & finishes so I can travel (😭) with it, but this was the first all shimmer palette that really enticed me. I decided to pick up ACD5 and ACI16 instead to try out the formula, and it's indeed absolutely beautiful. Their next palette looks like it'll be a mix of textures and finishes as I prefer, so that might be what I pick up!

What a great companion palette! This is pretty much how I use my Viseart shadows, especially the purple mattes which I feel are superior by Viseart. But like you said their shimmers are nothing special so I prefer to use duo or multichrome shades from other indie brands with the Viseart Violette or Amethyst Theory palettes or use the purple metallic/ lavender duochrome shades from other Viseart Edit palettes (Rose, Paris or Dark) I don't know why they can't put their good purple mattes & shimmers together in the same palette grrrr.

I got it when it first launched and as I already tried Adept Cosmetics eyeshadows and loved the formula. So when they came out with this new formula and all unique shimmer shades, I knew I had to buy it. No regrets! This palette is stunning! The thing to know abt Viseart's shimmers is that they are not a silicone heavy formula so they feel thinner and drier than some metallics that many are used to. They're not foiled but they can be with a wet brush or mixing medium.
