Really scary about Clint. I also had that happen to me, 4 years ago when I was about 32. Would randomly pass out, walking, sitting, standing. Would come to after a minute or so. Went by ambulance to the hospital 4 times and was basically called a liar and had to wait to see a cardiologist. Wore a heart monitor for a month and they saw "nothing abnormal." Wish they would have given me a pace maker after the 1st time. He's lucky he had a good physician!

I got a pacemaker also, similar situation, just going out w/ my heart stopping. Perfectly "healthy" until I went out, several times. Same thing, heart stopped w/o any warning or memory of what happened. Clint will be fine after recovery. Hope Meredith and Clint get well soon. Hang in there, both of you, you got this!!

Not being healthy merely increases the risk of something like this happening. Glad you're doing better tho Reminds me of a story my grandpa told me once that a friend of his smoked atleast 2 packs of cigs a day for pretty much his entire life since he was 17 and another one never touched them, was eating helathy and keeping him self fit. Now guess which one died of old age and which one of cancer. World is unfair when it comes to these kinds of things.

Going through some heart issues myself Dr's say I have what's known as a drop beat some call it a irregular heart beat but my heart will stop for 1-2 beats from my understanding and then comes back with a very large beat. Heart problems are definitely 1 of the scariest things I have ever been through and I'm glad to see Clint in good spirits and I will be praying for a long healthy life.

A buddys mom has had over heating & oil leak issues, my sister in law has had suspension/steering issues & now transmission problems & my wife don't care, she still wanted one until I talked her into waiting until ford fixes those issues ... every year it gets harder to buy anything but Toyota

I had a buddy that had his heart stop. We were out in working the oilfields and him and few others went got some drinks after hrs and his heart just stopped. Never had problems before and he was young. Good thing another buddy knew what to do and saved his life

Sorry to hear something like that happening to Clint. As an ER Nurse, we tend to get intrigued by these situations and try to play detective of what it could be. Thankfully you were on a heart monitor when it occurred in the hospital so they could show that proof to the cardiologist! Matt, I am curious of what his diagnosis was; Brugada Syndrome, complete heart block? I commend you all for the realism in speaking about these challenging health issues, but also appreciate your optimism in knowing time will literally heal. Good luck on your paths to recovery!

Thank God and Jenna for getting Clint to the hospital. My cousin, Robby, passed out while playing tennis years ago in Hawaii (on vacation with his wife). He shrugged it off and continued to play tennis. When he passed out again😮, he was dead. Massive heart attack. Men are the worst at seeking medical attention.
