Was there some weeks ago and lived 3 weeks in a small hotel next to the railway station. Every morning I walked up to N-Tower, so I could start my Tai Ji exercise at 6 in the morning. I need between 20 and 22 minutes to go up, which was also a part of my training. After some time, I get familiar with the people who clean in the morning the place. The 야채호떡 is the best I found in Seoul. I made some pictures of this shop too, 1500 KRW is cheap and this shop is sooo good. Sometimes I bought 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening at this place. Before 9:30 there are not so many people waiting. In the evening they close early, so I tried to go there at 19. If you walk on Nam Dae Mun Market along the street of this shop, at the end you can find on the right side a Dumpling Shop. There food is also very tasty. Like the other shop, many customers are there and they close earlier than the other shops. Usually I walked further and crossed the Seoulro, the one which is going above the other streets. There is a Seven Eleven where I finish the day with ice-cream. If you go to the Railway Station you can find Zettaplex. If you buy food or other things and it is more than 30 000 KRW you can show your passport and you need not to pay tax, which is 10 percent. The shop is also very cheap. Best place to buy Blackpink DVDs is YG-Building. Some say, it would be expensive but it is not. It is cheaper than buying in Myeongdong or Lotte Youth. IU and other K-Pop DVDs can be found in Yongsan Station. There is a shopping mall and cinema. The DVDs are really cheap there. But this area is expensive for Shops like Paris Baquette. Best place to buy poster and merch from K-Pop including Blackpink is Myeondong Underground Shopping Mall. It is at Exit 6!!!! Do not go to the other Myeongdong Underground Market which is connected with City Hall. The price difference: IU Fotobook in the City Hall Area 24 000 KRW, Myeongdong Exit 6 Underground 8000 KRW!!!!! At Exit 6 you can find everything you need as a K-Pop Fan. So, never look for Myeongdong Underground Mall when you walk from Namdae Mun, go to Exit 6 of the Subway, this is the right place!

I live in Suwon and go to the fortress at least once a month. I also go into Seoul to visit Olympic Park, Bukhansan, Seoul Forest, and Cheonggyecheon stream frequently.

It's impossible to live in Suwon and *not* pass by the fortress on a regular basis while taking the bus. It's close to everywhere :D

My ultimate favorite place in Seoul is Seoul Forest because every season has its charm there and as an introvert, it helps me to get out and not feel overwhelmed xD

My wife’s parents have an apartment at Samsung San apart bus stop. There are very nice hiking trails on Samsung san and several monasteries that are nice to visit. It is cool to walk in summer and there are picnic areas. I walked to the top of the mountain and there is a beautiful vista of Seoul.

My wife (see is Korean from Daegu), go back to Korea several times each year. I agree with your list, but offer some market alternatives - Myeongdong Night Street Market and Gwangjang Market.

On our recent visit we stayed in Myeongdong and went down to the night markets most nights. It was so busy and vibrant, I loved it. I also loved the Folk Village in Yongin-si. There is so much to see showing how life was in Joseon times. We spent a whole day there. Of course the Palaces are a must see especially if, like me, you love Korean historical dramas :) The last place that impressed me a lot was the view from Busan Tower. We went at night and it was an amazing sight. The harbour was so lit up :) We visited many other places but If I were to go back, I would want to revisit those places and stay in Myeongdong again as it was so close to many of the sights so we could walk a lot and use the subway to easily get to places :)

Can you make a 2 week South Korea itinerary with streets and destinations for every day
@GoBillyKorean9 ай бұрын
Oh wow, that would be a big task! I think it would depend entirely on what someone likes, since 2 weeks isn't long enough to do anything but it's also enough time to do a lot of things. For example, someone who likes historic places would do a completely different itinerary than someone who's in Korea for music or dramas, or someone who's interested in Korea to "tour" the country.
